oh, and congrats on the baby!  i've got one coming in september.  my first as well, although unlike you, i'm not carrying it.  i let my wife go ahead and handle that.

yes he is for mother's day of course.
i particularly avoid anything noory personally advertises, he sounds so insincere when he does it.  :P

I heard him do the Sherry's Berries (sp?) spot and he mentioned the strawberries were dipped in "white milk or dark chocolate" as opposed to "white, milk, or dark chocolate."  I don't want strawberries dipped in white milk.  If I owned that company I would want a refund.

How did Sacha Baron Cohen go from being the next Peter Sellers to the new Adam Sandler?

A wise man.

My thought:  Facebook is the new AOL.

Thanks guys for all of your good wishes. I promise I won't bore you all to death with pending baby mama talk.

JohnnieB, you and my dad would get along just fine...you're both warped. He too jokingly (I hope!) Asked me if my husband-to-be  was the baby's father. Nice, dad! All I can tell you is, short of being abducted by Gray aliens and being used as a hybrid mama, yeah, he's the one...uh...wait...no....yeah...he's it.

B_dubb, now that it's official, I have to lay off the baked beans, ravioli, Doritos and other devilish shtuff, so thanks for torturing me with your burger worfing.
No beer or martinis or sangria or red wine until my son is hatched, but that's a-ok with me.

Eddie Coyle, I have news for you, Sacha Baron Cohen can't hold a candle to the late and great Peter Sellers. No way, Jose. I just watched "Being There" the other night...Sellers was simply sublime in his role of Chauncey. Sheer brilliance, yet Sellers was quite the tortured soul in real life...there's always a price to pay for genius, no?

One additional thought about my son I'm carrying... Since I have to (happily) lay off beer, red wine, and sangria for six months, should I also lay off tuning into C2C? I mean, do I risk having George Noory's voice and his Nooryisms reaching into my womb and the eardrums and developing brain of my son? Do I risk his brain and thought patterns - not to mention his articulation and enunciation - being damaged!?  Could I live with myself if his first words were "get ready for Mish Shedlock" !!?? Egads!

Just the same don't be shy to post some updates.  I think there was a baby thread somewhere.  Where ever that is, that might be a good place.

Apologies, Michael. I neglected to honor and congratulate you and your wife on your upcoming first child! Congratzo, and promise that you will not pass out in the delivery room, or request a gurney or O2! I'm sure you're a proud papa-to-be!

bluth co.

Anyone else think that Johnny Depp and Tim Burton need to stop working together? I'm seriously losing interest.

I've heard the Dark Shadows movie is a real turkey

I think they should just stop making movies altogether.

Not looking forward to Depp's upcoming interpretation of Kolchak: The Night Stalker.

The original with Darren McGavin is fine. Fucking stop already, Hollywood.

I can imagine Depp wearing the "Kolchak hat," and I don't like it one bit.

I can't believe Tim Burton made his version of "Dark Shadows" as a comedy. WTH? The original soap-series was deliciously dark and goth. The storylines may have been at times over the top, but the wonderful cast of the original played it completely straight - and it worked.
I've heard bad word of mouth about Burton's version, and I have no desire to waste my money or time. I agree that the Burton-Depp combo is stale as hell.

Not a huge fan of Burton, anyway. I think he's overrated. He also committed the ultimate sin when he dared to remake the brilliant "Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory". I HATED the remake; Johnny Depp was NO match for Gene Wilder, and Depp came off looking like a cross between MIchael Jackson and Mary Tyler Moore. Plus there should have been NO father for Charlie - the role of the grandfather in the remake was diminished to nothing. The original film is sheer brilliance - LOVE the plethora of smartass one-liners that pour out of Wilder's mouth.

"Candy is dandy, but liquor is quicker.". "It happens every time. Sooner or later, they all turn into blueberries."

I just watched Darren McGavin in the TV film pilot for "The Night Stalker" on Youtube. The Vegas vampire! Loved it, and I had NO idea Depp is slated to butcher Kolchak's character, too!? COME ON!

I dont know yall I really like a lot of the Depp/Burton stuff although the last thing that I've seen that I felt was really like "whoa!" was his version of "alice in wonderland" a few years back.  I think Depp has almost pigeon holed himself as a burtonesque only character actor... Depp without Burton seems hard to deal with while Burton without Depp would be a welcome surprise.

I wonder? I wonder if Howard Stern Will last on america's got talent 2012? I figured I would Take a look just to give a look at what he is doing or how much of an idiot he will be.

This video was made a couple of years before Burton started on Dark Shadows.

Alright I have to plug this review of Dark Shadows by Kimmo Moretenson of Manka Bros.
Manka Bros isn't for everyone (99% of people) but I find it absolutely hilarious.

Game of Thrones was actually o.k last night, idk though something feels wrong. They've changed a few things from the book I think. The only scenes I actually look forward to now are the interactions between Arya and Tywin.

Oh and grats on the abs.

Huh?

Logic is not always logical, as searching for logic, with a logical intent where there is no logic, is illogical.

I want to see a flight sim computer game where one takes the role of a bird... or a grandtheftauto-style game where you're a cat in a giant cat-scale garden setting.

yeah I've been smoking out back again.
