Withering scarecrows pecked by predatory birds for 100 years have more vitality and personality than Joyce Carol Oates.

It's time like this I wish there was a 'Like' button on here. This will have me chuckling for a while. There's nothing like a bit of immaculate (and perfectly justified) nastiness to make the day go with a swing. It's like drinking a triple espresso for me.  :)

Fresh cups of vitriol and bile at Coyle's breakfast shop. I don't trust people who don't wake up caustic and irritated.

The equivalent of a "like" button in the BellGab universe would be a cup of piss. Click the cup and it fills with urine.

"This post has 10,000 cups of piss"

I'm so excited.  Fox hasn't blocked the Republican debate on their stream in Canada.  I can finally watch one.

Yes, those moderators really have been pretty lame, haven't they

Good news, everyone.

I discovered I can purchase a fine Sherwood set of three cups for the cups and balls routine.

Sterling silver, engraved, and well balanced...

Only $1800.00.

Balls extra.

Well then.  Let me fetch my goddamned magic wallet.  What am I waiting for?

(the psychological primary colored set of S. S. Addams brand plastic cups and balls seems a lifetime ago ... perhaps it is)

If this is true, where can I buy better gear and improved gaming experience like all good video games offer? http://artbell.com/10-reasons-life-may-be-a-computer-simulation/

According to Richard Norry some British hospital has claimed having a "warped sense of humor" is a sign of upcoming dementia. Warning to all Bellgabbers as the humor here can often be described by some as warped.

I don't like it when people say "I'm going to University". It should be "I'm off to collage"

I wonder where chuckling through his news segment reports on dead babies rates on the scale?

I always feel a little silly saying I went to University when conversing with Americans because I know college has a different connotation and it probably comes across as pretentious.  In Canada, however, colleges and universities are very different things and it's important to make the distinction.

Well that clinches it then.

Even here there is a difference, though most would say "college" in the course of casual conversation. Universities are made up of several colleges and usually can grant doctorates in some subjects or do research (as opposed to just teaching kids.) And then there are stand alone colleges (usually liberal arts or just one school or even 2 year or junior colleges.) I don't think there is anything pretentious about it saying it either way.

I think more on the sociopathic side in the DSM and not in the dementia areas.

Agreed.

I don't like it when people drop the article.  If you're going to say it, it's "the university", just like it's "in the hospital" instead of the British "in hospital", which makes you sound like a Russian immigrant.

Same in Oz and I'm betting in the UK too.

'Mericans are weird.

  Why keep the David?

I guess that's the next thing to go. I hope he replaces David with The.
