I'm just curious if any Bellgabbers have studied the Human Design system of personality differentiation?
http://jovianarchive.com/Newcomers

I have been "experimenting" with the system for two years. I also took a 13 week course.

Me:

Type: Projector
Profile: 2/5
Variable: PLL DLL
Cross: Right Angle Cross Of The Four Ways
Definition: Triple Split Definition

popple

This is the first time I'm reading about this stuff. These are my results.

Type: Manifesting Generator
Profile: Hermit - Opportunist (2/4) :D
Variable: ??? idk where I find that.
Cross: Right Angle Cross of The Four Ways  (19/33 | 44/24)
Definition: Triple-Split

I have no clue what this all really means yet. I really am happy to hermit.

*after watching videos* Ooooh, I see. I already naturally do all the things suggested. I always wait for feeling/intuition to direct me the right way. Or when a strong feeling arises I will take notice and observe where it might be coming from. I wait for the answers to present themselves. They usually come very quickly. I just let things come to me. It's always served me well so I trust it easily. I don't have problems with my mind getting in the way. The only times I go against my feeling is when I don't want to disappoint someone by saying no. I don't want to be looked at weird because my feeling isn't believable to them & I don't want to lie to get out of something... so I just kinda go into situations knowing uncomfortable complications are going to come. That's where I experience the frustration. I just feel all the tension from things that haven't happened yet... but do end up happening. Once it's all over I'll go into hermit mode and recharge.

I'm gonna watch some stuff on projectors now  :P

Didn't take the test but it reminds me of one I took designed for prospective managers at a firm I once worked at.  Supposedly it would show what type of personality you had.  I couldn't help seeing the results of the guy sitting next to me.  He was a notorious back stabber yet he had a little cartoon character printed into his results that portrayed him as being a dapper guy in a business suit with a halo over his head.  I couldn't stop laughing for weeks.

Maybe it was the Myers Brigg's test? I've taken the test probably about 8-10 times and read all the break downs. I get & identify with INFJ. That guy could have lied on answers because it just sounded better to him lol

Yeah, I don't believe in junk generally but I do try to apply specific principles in life which seem to work. And I do enjoy studying systems of thought or belief in order to find the flaws and beat the house. (my 2/5 profile Hermit/Heretic nature at play) This particular angle of delineating a nature/nurture personality correspondence by design is sufficiently useful so as to warrant my attention for the past couple of years. Half of learning for me is visual so it helps that this system utilizes colored graphs and charts. The cerebral part of the knowledge matches up well with said graphics. In short, I find the knowledge useful if you're willing to learn the language of its presentation.

Yeah! Even if these sorts of systems are just a bunch of bogus stuff it helps me to reflect on things and maybe notice things I could improve. Maybe understand relationships between people and with myself. So it's a good tool in that way.

Being well-spoken and nicely dressed is more important than being right when appearing before Judge Judy.

I'm still waiting for the day when Zippy the Pinhead appears before Judge Judy.

Yes, I agree. But maybe that's just because we both have the same incarnation cross and triple split definitions.

Anyone take those free "personality tests" the Scientologists give out near just about every college campus?

Haha. My daughter used to watch a lot of CBeebies which is the BBC's version of Nick Junior which also airs Peppa Pig. My daughter developed a British accent as a result.

I hate Peppa Pig but I'm sure for you it must be preferable to Jihadi indoctrination. Actually it could be worse. Too soon? :P

has to be better than Teletubbies or Barney

It could be worse, MV.  Your daughter could be talking like Teresa "I'm a pretentious princess" Kerry, "I really am a down-trodden southern slave" Hillary, or watching "Dukes of Hazzard" to perfect a Boss Hogg dialect.

Please let her watch This is Spinal Tap as soon as possible, to further cement this phenomenon in.

Well, who's fault is that?

Whatever happened to dumb coyotes having any number of severe bodily injuries from chasing road runners and failing, or dumb cats getting the same from chasing after smart mice and tweety birds, dumb hunters and other gun totin' trouble makers getting more of the same chasing smart rabbits, that sort of thing, or even lazy but clever bears stealing picnic baskets from hapless tourists?

I say it's time to put your foot down and put on some quality children's entertainment.  They should be learning broken English from Speedy Gonzales, the fastest mouse in all of Meh-hee-co, like the rest of us did, and learning a good ol' southern drawl from Foghorn J Leghorn.

There's only one hope to save our culture.  Massive doses of "Kelly's Heroes."

Forced to lay off 45 of a staff of 70 production operators and management. Our largest customer could not compete against the demand for the lowest price, that being from China...

There is no unemployment insurance in China...you show up to the factory and continue to produce products for which there are no orders...the government pays for that which you cannot sell...then, that product is dumped on the world market...below the cost of any other competitor...

We will try to hold on as long as we can...but the constraints placed upon us by US law is dictated by the trade policies supported by our government, both Republican and Democrat...

You want to make a difference? Do as the Germans do, buy products made in your own country. It's rather simple, pay a little more for the US product, or pay more taxes for those who cannot find jobs...

Happy Holidays...be thankful for that which you have...

I would really hate to be in your shoes, not to mention the 45 you have to let go. Sorry man, truly sorry.
