Time to invoke the DPA.

If only we had harkened to the sage advice of Barney Fife a few months ago when we had the chance.  He would have been fully supportive of the massive Corn Teen protocols...

Even though Barney is not opining and pontificating about the current subject, with a little imagination one can take the following monologue to heart if a little artistic leeway is taken and one imagines Barney discussing the necessity of Corn Teen in Mayberry:

Happy Easter, y'all.

Happy Easter! Laughing because Friday night Lee Cigar on C2C had some open line caller who was extolling the virtues of "turkey tail" (mushrooms) and their health properties and said regarding Corona-Chan- "Let's Nip This Thing In The Bud" and "get everyone drinking Turkey Tail."

Typical of so many of these politicians and judges. "Do as I say, not as I do."  You seem them make grave press conferences, issue stay-at-home orders, close most businesses and churches, close parks, but then they are seen touching their face, picking their nose, shaking hands, standing next to each other, going to parties, or in this case commandeering fire equipment for a child's birthday party (when we aren't even allowed to have birthday parties.)  The pictures and investigation is priceless. Now if we could get some on the national and international leaders....

Warned of a “surprise” outbreak in 2017?! Isn’t the whole point of a surprise is that it’s unknown? If you know a “surprise” is coming then it could only be a “surprise” that was planned. ::)

Because it can be repurposed as hand sanitizer in time of need?

There are two substances that could be eliminated which would eliminate two of the top three types of preventable deaths in the US. Tobacco and alcohol.  It alcohol were invented today it would be a Schedule I drug right next to heroin on the banned list. It has no medicinal value, severe risk of addiction, and a major contributing factor to death.

That’s over 200,000 deaths. Per year. Preventable deaths.  Wouldn’t take the total economy down.  Just a few slices of it.

But noone would get rich from developing, testing and distributing a tobacco or alcohol vaccine.

It's not true about alcohol having no medicinal value, doctors have often recommended a nip of brandy to people in need of a restorative. Wine in moderation is fine. Anyway, the reason people don't ban either alcohol or tobacco is because we have seen (Prohibition) that it is better to work from the bottom up rather than legislate top down. You'd just encourage more criminal activity.

In the old days beer, and such, was a large part of a peasant's nutrition and diet. It was their 'liquid bread.' Monks used to survive on it during Lent (what an amazing idea for Lent of all things.) Also distillation and brewing were very good economics (transport of alcohol considerably less volume than the raw ingredients and does not spoil as quickly.) It also was a source of tax avoidance and rebellion (to get around royal taxation or government taxation- we had a "Whiskey Rebellion" once.) Lastly in times of bad, or no hygiene, alcoholic drinks were often safer than the drinking water. And there is quinine in Tonic Water so your G&T might fit Corona-Chan and malaria (not really, levels aren't high enough.)

Since I am apparently what K_Dubb refers to as a hoarder f*ck and actually prepared back in Jan/Feb, I just made some bread dough and have it rising.   Think I'll go inventory my john paper rolls now.   ;)

If you are determined to vex me on Easter of all days I will have you know that, with a bellyful of hot cross buns, I am perfectly complacent.  Hoard away, my brother.

I meant, more desperate than usual.

Just more ad hominem from someone with no counter argument. That’s the real desperation. ::)

Let me know when you actually have something menaingful to say. ;)

Gravity's always lecturing us about alcohol. It's like someone dug up Carrie Nation, the puritanical old pissypants. Also, I believe your so-called 'Founding Fathers' were constantly shitfaced on strong waters.

Earlier there was a comment about Russians up there going to Easter services (and slanderous accusations about you spying them with your telescope.) Is Easter for the Orthodox types next week, the 19th? I know the Serbian and Greek is.

The same doctors that practiced bloodletting?

But you just made the argument for ignoring the mandated shelter in place. Let people decide if they are at risk and should stay at home.

What happened to following the science?

To put your post in context, you're the cunt who quarrels with everyone on here, and half the time you just spam threads with videos without any description or context.

So according to a poll Trinity ran on GLP - 85.5% of GLP respondents believe the virus is man made (with the majority of those going for the intentional release), while only 7.9% going for it being natural.  With 796 votes in, I do believe this is settled science.

Au contraire! They quarrel with me. I just post. It is in context. If you’re too stupid to understand it then it just speaks to your unfortunate inbreeding. Say hi to the queen for me.

It is man made. Even the MSM can’t deny this anymore.

It is, but these are some type of Evangelical.  There is a big church/immigration scheme setup (like the Koreans have been doing for years) near me.  Fine people:  strapping, industrious menfolk, almost uniformly slender and beautiful women with a few babushkas thrown in for color, astonishingly prolific.

OK, if you bust open a hernia go and look up a YouTube vid on how to fix it. You don't need them doctors. Let me know how you get on.

With alcohol or tobacco, generally speaking, as you are at risk you can make the determination. With a virus you're infecting others.

Frankly I'd like to see the US population down to about 50 million anyway, so I'd rather not discourage your free-thinking approach.

I say that if we’re going down the road of depopulation then we start with all the inbreds and pedophiles in your nation. You know it’s rampant there.

That coming from an inhabitant of a nation that makes you take a blood test before you get married just in case you have goat herpes.

Guess Pierre said the hell with the virus today.......................

No clue as to what a hernia has to do with anything but you started out saying everyone should listen to the doctors but now you are saying not when it comes to alcohol and tobacco.  What about the doctors that say you need to let the virus run its normal course to establish herd immunity?

Let’s go with your “personal choice” discussion.  I choose to take HCQ as a prophylactic against the virus. Or Ivermectin. That would be my personal choice.

How many drunk driving deaths occur on an annual basis?  Why does it seem the drunk always walks away with a few scrapes while the family in the other car is killed on the spot? You can’t honestly believe alcohol only has an effect on the drinkers. Domestic violence?  I don’t have a real position on the legalization of marijuana because of the loss of productivity (although as I lean libertarian I am beginning to believe it should be legalized), but you don’t have potheads being arrested for domestic violence.

What about the financial effects and the adverse effect on the mental health of the families of people that succumb to the deaths caused by tobacco and alcohol?

30-Love.
