No kidding. The parliament of Canada actually shut down. All of the parties agreed that they would rather ride this out holed up in their basements than provide any degree of leadership.

I actually cannot believe that there are not mobs with pitchforks out there looking for these cowards. Elected to provide leadership, and in a time of "national emergency" they retreat to their comfortable houses and leave the country without anybody in charge.

Provinces are putting in restrictions and making decisions. Even municipalities are taking the lead. Our national leaders? Fucking absent. They should all be fired for job abandonment. I can't tell you how pissed I am with their response to date- and now this.

Certainly in this day and age they could at least skype in? Useless little shit stains on society. And they will collect around $20,000 each of tax-payer funds while sitting in their basements hiding from the public, decisions, and accountability. Hopefully we will all be dead and forget this when the next election rolls around. (Not that it matters- this was every party agreeing that they wanted to abandon their jobs during what has the potential to be a defining moment in history.)

Some minor corrections. The "Intelligence Community Comprehensive National Cybersecurity Initiative Data Center" is in Utah, though there are bunkers and what-not under the Denver Intl Airport I'm sure.
