I'm cynical enough that I still don't buy it. He has some RCMP charged with keeping him safe. My guess is that he wants to remain sequestered because he is a coward. He has announced that his wife has it, and he needs to remain at home with no contact.His security detail will agree, and nobody would know who "tested" his wife.

I could just as easily claim that my wife or child was sick and that I had to stay home. Nobody is going to demand the test results. And I get to remain inside my house armed with a 12 gauge to keep you infected bastard zombies at bay.

In short. I believe that our PM is a spineless coward who is lying so that he can stay safe at home rather than have to act like a leader.
