Good grief now I need a car to go with?  You guys, your accessory game is 🔥!

Well it helps. This would probably work for you.  ;)

As far as I can tell, Norwegian auto making peaked with The Troll in 1956.

It's...complicated. Which is why I picked that nice khaki fishing hat with the 5 inch bill for you. I didn't think you could get into any issues with it but Azz did bring up some points I didn't consider.
Here. Just get this.............

It could be.

That one is okay, but this one:

with a slightly stained white wife-beater, torn dirty jeans and an ice cold PBR is pure magic.

I have one, I call it my "dad hat."  It gets attention, and resluts too.  Pinky swear.

K_Dubb, the caption alone will draw attention away from your face if you think you are hideous.  If you can walk out the front door with that on, it screams confidence and manliness.  I am sure the dudes will love it as much as I have found the ladies do.

Good luck, happy hunting!

And though obviously not homo he also favored the short-shorts that were popular at the time and we all know that K_Dubb already likes the Hawaii shirts.

"Who wears short shorts?"

Because I ruined what is left of my mind looking for Elton in a hat yesterday, I present an image etched in my brain. I can only imagine that they were a glorious golden metallic colour.

This is who wears short shorts.

And the bonus.

If that is the case, I would suggest the "Covid mask protesters cap."

I'll get back to you [Doc] with some more recommendations soon, and see what I can do about making the comics I shared via Tumblr more visible. Just for you.

As promised...

I know you’re a comicbook artist and I think you know that I’ve long been a fan of comicbooks... I’m just wondering if you’ve produced anything with broader appeal that might not be quite so slashy, slashy as some of your stuff I’ve seen that we could checkout?

Quote from: Dr. MD MD on October 24, 2020, 08:28:19 AM
Unfortunately, I’m not on Tumblr.

[I'm into] a pretty wide range of stuff from superhero comics to just comic strips and also the underground comics of the 60s and 70s...

I dunno if you listen to my show, but here is a brief audio excerpt from the most recent episode of Azzerae's world, in which I recommend some art comics, cartoonists and titles worth checking out.

Thank you, bunny; this was very powerful.  Your repeated admonition to make salad really resonates with me right now because I do neglect my dark green leafy vegetables, which are important to keep me from swelling into a land-whale and can also significantly ameliorate the digestive perils of a high-protein diet.

Daylight Savings Time is a way locales not near the equator use to leverage natural light during the summer months.  Some studies show it saves energy usage but that is not universally accepted as true. Lots of people piss and moan about it, but I suspect they don't realize the benefits - say having enough time to mow your lawn after work before it gets dark.

One of the firsts task I was given as a young code jock was to handle the time zone/DST stuff for something. It's a p.i.a. - the only rules is there are no rules:

THANK YOU, W.A.N.

Do you have any idea how Daylight Savings Time would affect me, for instance, in South Africa...like, would I be another hour ahead of you guys or something?

AZZERAE

As some of you in this thread may know, I used to have a site called azzgab.world - Well, that site is no more. Some of my past associates plastered the place with questionable content, and the private information of others. But regardless of how much I may not care for the people who were fucked with in that endeavour, I ultimately decided to close azzgab.world's doors, a week or 2 ago.

I have, however started a NEW site, using similar software to BellGab's, and its domain is azzgab.co.za - Essentially, the purpose behind its existence is to provide a full archive of all my past podcasts. Yes! In case you didn't know, I do a low key little spinoff podcasting effort (sort of like an audio diary entry with some fun stuff peppered in), and it's a very intimate, autobiographical affair. Only a few close friends listen and follow along. It's not an ambitious or "hoping to gain a following" type of thing. It's truly a labour of love, and a highly cathartic hobby. The title of the podcast shares the name of this thread, and I create show art to accompany the show, which I post here and on my site.

Lastly, I cheekily dubbed this spinoff creation Your Number One Source of BellGab News, which tends to be true, for the most part, though sometimes not.

This map might help:
https://www.timeanddate.com/time/map/

We'll say you are in Pretoria and I am in New York City.  Everything revolves around UTC or Universal Coordinated Time [you may see it referred to Greenwich Meantime/GMT or Zulu Time]. You are at UTC +2 and I am at UTC -5 currently [From March 8 thru November 1st - I would be at UTC -4].
So currently it is 6:15PM for you but 11:15AM for me. 24 hours ago, it would have been 12:15PM for me but we have moved back on to standard time for the winter.  Of course it still would have been 6:15PM for you on both days as your country has decided not to utilize DST.

You bet.  It's not really tricky until the International Dateline comes into play.

See? The problem is THEY keep trying to keep up this myth that the Earth is round, not flat as we know innately.

They have to obfuscate the facts with complicated "time zones" and other artificial contrivances.

These are sadly rising in price rapidly. But they pop up in mint condition from time to time.   I have some coin set aside to pick up a mint one, if the opportunity presents itself, to compliment my LS430
