Well, my grad ap is in - and all the recommendation request forms have gone out.  I pushed that last button.  (I did it all online, as only seemed right for a program that focuses, partly, on distance learning)

This is what I'm shooting for:  http://www.umass.edu/education/academics/tecs/ed_tech.shtml

If you are into prayer, rain dances, magical charms or any method of positive energy creation and sending - I'd sure appreciate it.  I HATED pushing that last submit button.   Now that it's gone - I'm sure I fucked something up - but that's me.  I'd think that if God herself had done 1/2 the work for me.

You're in already. You HAVE to get in. I just can't see it any other way. You're a great candidate.

MV/Liberace!

good luck to you, evb.  i'm sure you'll be fine, however.

Well, I'll tell ya what my daddy always told me.

"If you fucked up, don't call on me, cause it aint my fault."

Heh, j/k. I'm sure you got it anyways. But, if you really believe in all that voodoo, well then, good luck! But again, I doubt you need it. You smart.  ;D

So funny you should say that - I was going to add VooDoo the list  ;:)

Gotta love the on-line application process.  Today i woke up to 4 emails, one saying that my application had been received and was in process - and three others form people who have agreed to recommend me (I only need two - so I'm ahead there) So -I've decided to be grateful they didn't ask for GREs - since this program - in the past - has been geared primarily toward engineering and math types - and while I do have a AS in Electronics Eng. - I'm really more of a humanities type, and the GRE would show that loud and clear.  Not that it would be the deciding factor, and they are taking a wider range of people, but - it's one less thing to fret about.

Well if they are interested in keeping the interdisciplinary nature of the program alive, I think that you're much better suited than that of straight math or engineering grad student as they often cannot communicate outside their circles.
