Awesome!  We did have this conversation in the past and like I said before "Hell.  I wish you still had it too".

Yep, I thought that was you.

I've always been a B-Body kinda guy:

A friend of mine has one of these. '69. Just the 440. What I do like about it is the gear whine on the 4-speed. Especially when you put it in reverse. ;)

aw cute, rolaids look like little flat earths

They're also good for the dyspepsia you'll be developing while listening to the FEers, lol.

Hope Amy feels better.

I always wanted an AMX with a 390

Me too! Good show tonight; Seth Sostak isn't my favorite, nonetheless a good interview. Keep up the good work Amy. :)

He picked it up in TX in the early 80's when the muscle car market had flopped, for a song and a dance. He's kept it as original as possible, and yes, his has the (fire) bronze paint from the factory. Plymouth.

price-wise

In the early '00's they became popular with the yuppies because they were easy on fuel and you could pack them full of groceries and kids & strap your kayak on top of them. Fuckin yuppies ruin everything.

Yes. Enjoyable interview. I've heard him interviewed a couple times and this was one of the livelier ones.
Agreed, this was one of his better ones.

brand loyal people are the worst they have all had their hits and misses
Brand loyalty to me is like some of the guests on paranormal shows. No matter how much evidence to the contrary they are shown, they still stick with their theories about the snake oil they are trying to sell. We've all heard a few of them...  eh?  ;D

I think every car company wants $25k for their car these days.

You think that or a Subaru is a better off-road vehicle?

also where I lived in Texas you would get your throat slit for ordering a Pepsi rather than Coke
Ouch.
Polaris / Arctic Cat   too.

Both suck Polaris more than Arctic Cat though. Japanese build the best ATV's and thats not because i shitpost as a weeaboo its the truth. Can-am is breddy good though the leafs can build a quad.

And for some reason they are selling well (credit)

jeeps were never meant to have 4 doors, Bluetooth and navigation. I just want a inline 6 and a decent 5 speed and a hole in the floor so i can hose it out.
I like the way you think. lol

I used to have a 78 Urban Insult Vehicle, errr, Suburban. The pull vents by the fender were oval and in the winter, you could fit almost a full case of beer in there. Kept it cold and you didn't have to hide it if the fuzz pulled you over. ;)

Just got back from Michigan.  It was refreshing to hear it referred to as "Pop" again.  Soda is something that
comes in an Arm and Hammer box
Agreed.
Hey, did you get a chance to drink from any bubblers while you were up there ?

Nah but drove past plenty of rummage sales.....   Hell it was nice just to drive past lakes, ponds and rivers
that aren't mud holes.  NC is really nice but the inland bodies of water are pretty depressing.
