Yeah, it's a fascinating part of history.

It reminds me how Ellis described magic as the universe's "cheat codes" in "Planetary."

I'm here waiting to hear you call in JuanCena!

...with the cricket.

Lilith

Well, I like this guests voice anyway, lol's

He sounds just like Howard Hughes to me.
BTW, MacReady (the guest's name) was Kurt Russell's name in The Thing.

The guest just said Heather is a bit of a fairy.

Reptioloids, Grays, Tall Whites, Praying Mantis and now the guest says Grasshopper aliens helped him write his book.

Lil Godzilla

Hi Gabbers,

Just tuning in, what's HW talking about tonight?

Lil Godzilla

So if someone were to record a dog howl, and play it so Heather hears it, will that be the death song for this show :-\

Just tuning in, what's HW talking about tonight?

I'm afraid we don't know.  The Gabcast ended and we dispersed to our basements and underpasses.

Lil Godzilla

LOL, okay, I missed it. Was it a good one?

The reviews were generally superlative, but most of it went over my head.

The caller said the Soviets used pencils while the U.S. used pens.  Until the development of the space pen there were hazards with using pencils. The graphite would create dust when writing, the wood was a flammable element, the lead or pencil could break and be lost, becoming a hazard in the low gravity environment. No, the space pen didn't cost the taxpayers millions of dollars, it was privately manufactured and the government along with the Soviets bought a number of them to increase safety on their space missions.

HW thinks Trump is a good businessman and can't be bought.  My gosh, does she have his tax returns and will prove it to the rest of us?  ::) #shill4trump

All the crooked shit the Clintons have done for 40 years and you're worried about Trump's taxes?  REALLY?  You must be daft.  He's being audited (like most hi-profile Republicans get year after year with the idiot Dems in charge) and said he would release them after the audit.  NO thinking person would release their tax returns while being audited!

Did you see that the Clintons are PAYING for new dirt on Trump now?  That's how far they've fallen.  They can't come up with anything to use against him so they are offering money for anything they think will stick and it's disgusting.  Did you see that REUTERS (a left wing news gathering org) has just announced Trump has caught Hillary in the Electoral College?

I'm telling you folks, this ain't even gonna be close....

Interesting that the Clinton's have never been charged, much less convicted of anything. Trump is a liar, a racist and a misogynist.  And not very smart.  He has the cracker vote because crackers are also racist and still can't get over having a black POTUS.  Be careful, Hillary's been taking names and after she's elected she's going to fuck you up.

PK, indeed. Polls do not include Trump voters who don't want to admit voting for Trump, for fear of being labeled racist. A word which the Left throws around so loosely and freely, it has lost its meaning.

Haha yeah pate there was some pearl-clutching as well as an interest in other people's domestic affairs that, in a previous age, would have been viewed as distinctly womanish.  But I think you and I are the the only ones who remember such things.

8 posts for a show = new record low

I guess Ryan in Puget sound apologising(yet again) for some perceived slight of Heather isn't riveting radio

Cancelling my Time Machine subscription today.

Heather has now crossed the Rubicon of Political Pollution. What comes after a flat out endorsement of dj Trump is a guest appearance by Jerry the Bug Corsi?

What started as a hopeful thing after Art's departure, has become an intolerable Snorgness.

Interesting that even Art had to show up, just to offend listeners with his political crap, too.

Just sad...
Even this thread has deteriorated, thanks to the RW propaganda machine. I don't see much point in posting here anymore either , the troll army has already emerged.

Art who?  Like anyone gives a shit what he believes.  I'm about done with Heather, too.  Sometimes (like not understanding how the Constitution is amended) she's just not that bright.  Other times she has no real supporting arguments for her positions - just acting like a whiny teatard.

MITD has more first time callers than this thread .

I said it before, and I'll say it again. I have nothing personal against Heather. I don't know her, never interacted with her. I don't care about her past; supposed job history, etc.
I like to poke fun at the whole witch thing, but that's about it.
I honestly tune in to MITD; more for the guests, when it's someone I'm interested in listening to. One thing that just won't change is the fact that Heather isn't cut out to do a radio show. No ands, ifs, or buts. I realize some of her friends, supporters on Bellgab don't like to hear that. Though; if they're honest, they'd have to admit this is true.

Oh, I see. He's going to release his taxes AFTER the election. It's patriotic of him to wait until he's in office. What a swell guy. I am concerned with a man who flatly refuses to let people know his true character and qualities. How he handles his finances is an indication of how he'll handle his responsibility as president, is it not? To be clear and fair, there isn't a law that forces him to release his taxes (I believe there should be), and that's extremely unfortunate because it allows financially vague people like Trump to hide his business dealings, charitable contributions, and associations with individuals and companies in other countries that may or may not be friendly to the U.S. Why should his taxes continue to be a big secret when it's the American people who are trusting him with the honor and privilege of being their POTUS?  Are you telling me that he won't return that trust by being forthright about himself?  What a slap on the face and a FU! to his supporters, and to me as a registered voter. Wasn't it Donald Trump who opined on past POTUS candidates, by suggesting when someone doesn't release their taxes they must have something to hide? Yes, it was a younger Trump who made the comment. But now he's exempt from his own advice when he's running for president?  A straight and consistent shooter Mr. Trump isn't. We should be wise enough to dispense with the corrupt before they enter the White House. Why would anyone want to have scandals erupt as soon as someone becomes president because of substandard and ineffectual vetting? Vet them/him fully now while there's time, not when it's too late. Hillary has been through the wringer many times in her political career, and continues to be, but you can't honestly say the same about deliberately non-transparent Trump. Let's abolish the one-sided hyper-scrutiny to equalize the POTUS playing field. I know the American people will be the benefactors for the effort.

This may be a shock for some to hear. There's no law preventing Trump from releasing his taxes. None. I don't immediately believe him when he says "believe me." I ask, why should I believe you?  His tax lawyer (or other) advised him not to release his taxes while under audit.  His audit excuse doesn't hold water when he's running for POTUS. It's irrelevant. The American people (not only his supporters) have a need and right to know. Is he as great a businessman as he says he is? Then put up or shut up. Prove it. Quiet the naysayers. The tax returns won't lie. I don't have the blind faith in Trump that you do. There are a number of speculations to explain why he is stalling, and make no mistake, he is stalling. The reasonable speculations don't include being audited because clinging to that baseless excuse is the definition of daft. What Trump could/should do is to immediately provide the IRS audit notification letter that he received as evidence of an audit. He has one, right? It's pretty simple and straightforward to post the letter on his website or arrange a press conference. It's not his missing tax returns, and it doesn't prove he's still being audited, but it would provide some proof that he underwent an audit. That's only if Trump is being honest, of course. His auditing excuse belongs in the trash can. It's puzzling to me how you hold Hillary to a much higher standard than Trump, while it's both who are applying for the same job. It's Trump who is the mystery man with no political history, no solid track record of his stand on important issues, and no verifiable documentation of his business dealings in multiple countries that have conflicts of interest written all over them should he begin to conduct his business from the White House.  As Trump is fond of saying, it's unbelievable.

If the dirt is factual I see no harm or foul. It's hard-knock politics. Think of all the accusations against Clinton that your boy Trump has thrown out as dirt. In addition to all of the truly disgusting things he's inferred about Pres. Obama and his place of birth. Glass houses. You must realize a reason Brock is offering money is because Donald Trump has to be one of the least transparent POTUS nominees in history. I wonder why.

Seems to me it's irrelevant to anyone, candidate for office or not.  Why would lawyers advise clients not to release taxes while under audit?  Are they afraid IRS will find out what's in them??!

Yoso

Hey BellGab.... Just wanted to lend my voice to the chorus of those who feel cheated by what MITD has devolved into. I dropped my membership last week. There's only so much Donald Trump fellating that I can tolerate in order to hear the guests. I know it's been said elsewhere on here but it seems pretty obvious that Heather is just pushing Art's weirdo Trumperism at this point. I know she owes him financially for giving her the reigns but you'd think she'd be able to keep her credibility in the transfer of power. I know that right wingers are, to some extent, a main source of listeners to talk radio but there has to be a venue where politics and content do not cross paths EVERY. SINGLE. NIGHT...... This whole mess has turned into Rush Limbaugh with a side of witchcraft and UFOs.  I, and I'm sure most if not all of you, have listened to Art for decades and he never droned on ad nauseam about politics for a significant portion of the show or let callers drop political bullshit after bullshit night after night unchallenged. Sure.... He hit on it from time to time but come on.... The people that call in every night about the rigged elections, Hillary's health, Trump, etc., effectivly hijack the show. And now Gregory Corso????? I'm out...  Giving my $5 to Howard Hughes Paranormal Podcast.
