Midnight In The Desert

Ryan in Puget Sound. Thank goodness he isn't complaining about Trump.

Stealth technology came from the Russians-is this true?

The lead guitarist, Ed King, would eventually be one of the members of Lynryd Skynryd. He's the fat guitarist in this clip.

i think ed king was skynyrd's best guitarist.  he did a lot for that band.  without him, they never would have had sweet home alabama and a few other hits.  the band sure did take a shit on him.

I wasn't listening, bit it depends on how you define stealth. Low radar cross sections were being developed by the Germans with the flying wing towards the end of WWII. We started testing the F-117 around 1977 with low RCS and radar absorbent materials. Well ahead of any Russian production aircraft.

The guest was saying the average age of a MUFON member was over 65 and they didn't have many younger people.
Just from what I've seen on TV, young people seem more interested in ghosts and hauntings.

I remember when Peter Davenport was on Art he would always tell people not to call MUFON, call his UFO reporting center instead.

Yes, they did.  I saw where he recently had a heart transplant and is now doing well.  He is 66 now.

Wow, he's needed a new heart since the 90s. Wonder why it took so long. Didn't know he'd finally done it.

tonight is a tempting listen for sheer hilarity

found this gem  on his website lol

"I first heard Bill Bean on the coast to coast radio show. That same night I sent him an email and he called me the next day. He helped deliver our church from dark forces who had taken up residence in our old building. Bill has a GOD given gift for facing demonic and satanic forces. He stands against evil through powerful prayers and GOD answers his prayers of deliverance. Bill Bean is a force of GOD'S light and has become a great friend of mine. I know GOD can help deliver others from the hand of Satan through Bill Bean."

I've heard this Bill Bean before...maybe it was back when that wrestler guy had the live show on Sunday nights? I think that was the show.

Bill Bean is a good guest.  I've read his books and his experiences kind of tie UFO's and hauntings together.  He had a nightmarish childhood, growing up in a haunted house where demons basically destroyed his parents marriage and escalated the death of Bean's mother.  There were some fascinating and scary photos in the book.  I'll listen tonight.

I might listen just to hear Heather tell him she's a Witch.

Do you think he's pro- or anti-demon?

Sounds like without demons, he wouldn't have much work, so does that make him pro?

Yes, could be funny. Like with the exorcist guest Heather, and callers, being shocked that some Catholic, and a traditional one or even sedevacantist one (I forget his precision,) was against magic, homosexuality, etc. I'm guessing there will be lots of parsing about "witchcraft" her being "good" of "the light" or some such non-sense.

He has probably been on plenty of these paranormal shows (not to mention the convention circuit) with many people with unusual beliefs.
