It is long and complicated but what got him in the end was HIV AIDS.  He refused to take his medication due to his schizophrenia and his organs, kidney and liver, stopped functioning. It was hell.

It is long and complicated but what got him in the end was HIV AIDS.  He refused to take his medication due to his schizophrenia and his organs, kidney and liver, stopped functioning. It was hell.

was it back when HIV pretty much killed you?  or was it after the advent of drug cocktails that keep people alive?

   I had to kick him out of the house after my Dad died because we were trying to take care of my sick mother and we couldn't handle the lunacy.  He could have stayed if he only took his medication.  He spent his last years in a nursing home across from Ebenezer Baptist Church in Atlanta next to the MLK center.  I wanted him to come home and die but he was throwing up blood and we couldn't handle it so we had him moved to a hospice close by.  We were with him when he died.  I have a lot of guilt over this.

Total sympathy. I've dealt with schizophrenia in the family as well. There are just no good solutions in dealing with it. Mine lives in a car untreated and smokes 3 packs of cigarettes a day and there is nothing anyone can do about it.

I was going to eat it during the shows.  LOL!   Consider it a very late dinner. 

I put it in the oven at 10:00 and had to leave a little later.  Totally forgot when I got back.......well over an hour ago.

No, he got it back then but he died in 2011.  Not sure whether it was the drugs or his interactions with she-males that gave him the AIDS.  He was abused in day-care back in the early 60's when he was a tyke and  I think it scarred him for life.

It wasn't a lot.  I put it in a small loaf pan.  It was the 'trimmings' from some I did for a catering event.

And yes...it is silly to forget it!  I'm under a lot of stress dammit.  LOL!
