I tried the fb for a couple of weeks. I euthanized my presence there when I realized that facebook is to friendship what the pocket pussy is to sex.

I thought about joining Facebook but decided to have an elephant step on my testicles instead.

My thoughts are she accepted the additional two hours uncompensated in order to keep the show/network afloat...or, there is a strong fan base and the show/network is viable and making a good profit...I have no way of knowing...

I don't know, but I don't think it is a very good measure. The amount of troll posts is way down.

Sometimes it seems like sitting around the campfire telling stories amongst friends. Other times the posts in the thread take a negative slant and I don't even bother posting.

I still don't understand why anyone would listen to the show or post in the live thread if they don't like it.

Maybe it is like me and the OSOM thread. I at least try to like it. I listen to be entertained by the looniness of it all, but most of the time I just follow the thread and only throw in a random post.

MITD will now compete head-on with Noory for the last 4 hours...

I'll admit I never post anything positive...on the other hand I don't think my posts are negative...I'm sure they come across that way, if a bgber took the time to view my posts in the passed I'm sure there are negative ones or could be taken in that light

they're more from a disbelief point of view and since wife works the night shift so I can't roll over and say to her "can you believe what she just said" or "here we go again...hw has changed the call-in question 3 times in a span of 5min"          so instead I post here with the intent of sparking a conversation or see if anyone else agrees

Far from trying to ruffle feathers or trying to go against the grain, with the motive getting bgbers angry, all in all I'm venting, getting off my chest, being lonely

I don't hate listening to the show its entertaining however not the way the show was meant with hearher being the entertainment

Like a really bad so bad it's good SyFi channel movie

3yrs ago I worked security at a hospital, a partially deaf (his disability comes into play) security guard was fired for sitting down and sleeping on post...he blames being deaf for falling asleep not the sitting in a chair...he went on Facebook and slandered (her word) the manager posted she's discriminatory against men with disabilities (gray area right now) yet added she's a closet carpet munching lesbian (now a better case for the slander)     Manager printed post brought it to city police dept. and the detective handed it back and told her "you willingly signed up, you willingly made a profile and put yourself on there...have a good day"

On the other hand a person such as me who doesn't have a Facebook account

A photo can be taken of me, post it on Facebook then add my name or as its called tag my name

Now this may be a situation where a case could be made

I can remember when I discovered MST3K, must've around 93'-94' and 13yrd old, I can remember being really confused at first not understanding sarcasm and wit but when I cuaght on thought it was the greatest thing in the world and I was excited one time when they were watching a main stream movie a change from the usual kungfu or B-movie, I can't think of the movie but watching them bust on a movie known and reguarded...I learned that sometimes busting balls and joking around is just that joking around harmless, made for easier times in high school life "being made fun of" sometimes is just a form of communication and excepting not always ill intent

Heather is no Art Bell but then again a long way from Noory. Somewhere on the continuum between sublime and ridiculous.  Five hours are a huge challenge. For anybody. I wish her luck.

Ah-ha, so that's their strategy.  People were tuning in to HW for the first hour and if the guest were lousy they'd pick up Noory's show for the remainder.  Now, HW will not put her guest on until Noory's show starts.  This way she hopes to keep her early viewers. 

I think this shows that they are not doing so well.

Haha, yep that's where MITD is at it seems. I feel like a jerk sometimes for enjoying it but the reality is some of the criticisms are damned funny! I love the live chats and some of the "trolls" on those. Especially regarding comments about the wacky guests on these shows.
