You are forgiven, my son. He is one of my favorite directors but has some misses. But some, like "They Live" are much, much better with time (although I liked it at the time.) Campy, sure. Cheezy. Yeah, but when you look at the themes? Actually brilliant. Not his best stuff, sure, but not his worse by any means.

As I recall he ran a way from home and Roddy was wrasslin' in independent circus/fair circles and on the various circuits for a long time before WWF (WWE post lawsuit. Damn Pandas.) He had a podcast and did interviews before his untimely death (RIP) where he talked about his early wrestling career, Hollywood, the whole consolidation of wrestling, and politics even. Good and funny guy.
