How many reactors are owned by traditional power companies? I'm guessing more than a few.

And you somehow think that the nuclear industry has that much power over the entire USA media apparatus, not to mention Canada, and Mexico?

akwilly

This is simply not true what she is saying about the salmon

Great guest. Would be great to hear her interviewed by an articulate, intellectually stimulating host.

How many hours today did redacted practice properly saying "Fukishima-Daichi"
Can you hear me?

This guest has no idea what she is talking about.

Robert

Where does she get this ridiculous idea that a single atom of Pu (or anything) is sure to produce a case of cancer eventually?  Even the odds against that particular atom disintegrating during someone's lifetime (half-life in the thousands of yrs.) are very long!  Let alone that such a disintegration would produce pathology either radiologically or chemically!!

But now I'm too wide awake to get to sleep, so I'm going to be listening to her a while.

Gotta stop licking those Jerry Garcia stamps dude.
I have quite a few Jerry Garcia Ties.  They are beautiful.  Ever hear of Owsley Stanley.  His stuff would definitely make them see that "Purple Haze."  I am a fan of the Dead's Art.  I am not a fan of the Grateful Dead's fan though.  And Ironically The Dead were not that fond of their fans either.

There are 99 commercial reactors in the US.

That's more than I thought. How many are owned by traditional power companies?

Where they correct on Steinfield that the salmon swims upstream & the tuna downstream?

These two broads don't have a clue what they are talking about.

It's just uneducated speculation, confirmation bias, and sensationalism.

Robert

Well, there's always C2C, which tonight advertises portals!

I don't know what your asking. There are 99 operating nuclear reactors generating power in the US.

I believe they are all owned by different regional power companies.

I'm saying that commercial power companies which happen to own nuclear plants can put a lot of pressure on the media companies they do business ( i.e. Advertise) with.

That is very good to hear.

The shrillness of this ladies voice is only rivaled by Hillary Clinton.

THE ECONOMY!!!!!

What is this broads end game? More regulation?

Sadly, not all Dead fans can be as cool as Bill Walton.

I don't know, I am only going on my experience, which is just anecdotal, but I rarely if ever see commercials or advertisements for commercial power companies.

No nuclear power, obviously. No nuclear weapons as well.

Can you cite? I really hope she's wrong. I'm really afraid she's not. I remember seeing the data on the Tokyo air filters

Does she have pictures of the pyramids of radioactive bags?
I'm asking seriously.

I used to know this guy who had many illegitimate kids whose mother's were all after him for child support.  Anyway, he used to drive by Rancho Seco, near Sacramento every chance he got because he thought it may give him a free vasectomy. Personally, I am not that adverse to Nuclear Power.  I think they still have Hanford in Washington State but am not sure. By the way the guy should have been sterilized. But he was so funny. Maybe Humor was his calling?

I see quite a few on the local news. Most power companies are regional rather than national. So I guess they're more likely to advertise on local stations as opposed to the networks.
