Another dumb woman.

"I went in the water and my legs turned red, and I was alarmed, but I didn't go to the doctor, and no one else there was suffering the same thing."

Fuck this show.

It's literally for fucking dummies at this point.

the caller also stated that the navy warned them and yet they still stayed.

If the guest was an expert on reactors, there would be something to discuss. Thorium reactors are a completely different technology. No fissionable products (i.e. Plutonium) are produced, Thorium is a very stable source, not highly radioactive, and it uses molten salt vs heavy water process. The theory is that a reactor the size of a chest freezer could power several hundred homes.this would decentralize the grid.  There used to be problems with corrosion due to the salt. Now that we have made advances with composites, we can make the piping were it won't corrode.

We could have had these in our Navy, but the government wanted plutonium for nuclear warheads. That is the primary reason we have the reactors that we do today (along with all of the nuclear waste)

Admiral Rickover was heavily involved in the decision making process. He is considered the "Father of the Nuclear Navy"

We can thank Jimmy Carter for prohibiting the recycling of nuclear waste. You would think someone would have rethought this decision by now.

Yeah, Heather, out of the paranormal & into the paranoidal.  Maybe even the adenoidal.

My player has been in and out. Has this guest given us any solutions to the problems she is bringing up or is she just "raising awareness"?
