I've always liked Onan. Chefist wants to blame his leaving on MV changing up the GabCast to include members that haven't hosted before, but he didn't leave then. He left after MV tried to make this place like 4chan  (which included changing your name whenever and however you wanted) hoping that would bring in the big bucks. It failed.

Karen had dropped HW and MiTD from KNYE last year and picked up MiTD again as soon as Dave started, I think that tells us all we need to know what Karen thinks of HW.

I doubt that it was Karen's disliking or liking of HW that influenced the format shift. She may have received numerous  (say 100) listener complaints that they would sooner listen to the station's normal music format than HW's MITD versus (say 20) that said we love MITD. Any drama that stewed up or her personal appraisal of Heather's abilities and personality beyond that is separate issue. But this would be a great thing to clarify on the show.

The other biq questions regard KNYE as the flagship station for the current MITD. How is the progress going? Is there going to be an ISDN line from Dave's studio in Minnesota to Pahrump? Or is the studio feed relayed through Keith in Arizona first? (Probably "secret" stuff but we will see if she says anything.

You know those juvenile, but hilarious, phone pranks like calling a Chinese restaurant giving a partial order and "say wait a moment," calling up another Chinese restaurant and saying "wait a minute," then asking the first place to "read back your order" and connecting the new Chinese restaurant phones lines on conference and listen to the chaos and confusion ensues as the two people try to figure out who is ordering from whom and what the heck is going on? What if someone connected the read Midnight In the Desert to the fake "Heater" version of MITD (if she ever broadcasts) during open lines one night?
