Here is what happens when fake Africans aren't bombarding Heather's guest announcements with likes:

Three people clicked that. THREE. Yet the next day, the count skyrockets! Well knock me over with a feather.

Wait for it...

Nonhle Khumalo and his entire village were sent Art's Parts and official Midnight in Art's Ham Shack merch for their loyalty, turns out. No conspiracy here, folks. ;)

- SWT(tm)

I must apologise SWT(tm), on the GabCast I questioned the authenticity of your pictures thinking they may have been photoshopped to include the African names as I could not see them on the personal page. I did not realise that there was a public figure page too. I think those African likes might be the result of Sponsoring posts through Facebook which those types of pages (public figures/businesses) can do.

The way it's supposed to work is you boost the post and set your target audience ie: paranormal, ghost, ufos, bigfoot etc. as well as locations like North America or wherever your target audience is and then Facebook is supposed to target people with those interest and then it will show up as a Sponsored Post in those users timelines. Depending on how much you boost the post for you are guaranteed a certain amount of likes probably based on their algorithms.

The problem with this that I experienced with my own business was that we weren't getting likes from our target audience. Many of the likes were coming from Asian, Indian and Middle Eastern areas which for a local business is useless. It's an obvious huge flaw in Facebooks advertising as it might gain you "likes" but it's not going to get you more business and in MITD's case listeners.

I don't have a problem with them boosting posts to gain more listeners. They're trying to advertise the show. Surely they are allowed to do that in order to survive. I also do not believe they are doing it nefariously to make it look like they've got more listeners or people interested in the show. I think they're genuinely trying net a larger audience.

Unfortunately looking at the results I do not think it is working and is turning out to be a huge waste of money. They might be better off trying to target a more niche audience but I'm no expert and I'm only basing it on limited personal experience.

Pray from Harambe.

There is no global warming, Donald Trump said so.

No, anyone who has looked at the actual FACTS (that haven't been manipulated by the incorrect placing of the temperature gauges and readers) knows there is no man-made "global warming."  In fact, the earth has been on a cooling trend for the past 15 years or more, right along with the scientist's warnings from when I was a kid that we are actually entering another large cooling event, like a low-level ice age.  Buck up and grab the parkas, there is no "global warming."

I could go on and on about this ridiculous nonsense but it's early....

if she reacted, that might lead her toward mentioning bellgab in some way.  can't have that.

I was listening to an old  gabcast the other day with Heather / Redacted, and a lot of the old gang. It was a simpler time  :'(.
I loved the comradery ...

Yeah.  This should make everybody upset.  It's a REALLY big mistake.  He's not just inconveniencing people or ruining our way of life, but harming the entire planet.  That's unforgivable, to say such a thing just to further his own greed.

Well I do carry a reputation as a bomb thrower, I suppose. To tell you the truth, I'd been drinking that night, so my immediate reaction was to swear revenge after listening to your Jazcast and ordered what I thought was a hitman on some sketchy Ukrainian database that turned out to be singles ads on a rather unpopular dating website. Praise Harambe, my new friend Oleg, and Colonel Vandeven, in that order.

No one actually does lol
Well, I thought I might have remembered that he had died in prison, but my husband remembers that a colleague of Mandella's had a mysterious death while held by the authorities and maybe my mind smooched together Mandella's name with the death.  Also, we have to remember that reporting sometimes gets the story wrong.  A number of folks may have heard a story presented in error.  The audio/visual media almost never presents retractions for their mistakes.

Thought this was her best show so far
Yeah.  I don't agree with her political slant and wish she'd run a straight show, but I think she's entertaining.  She certainly interviews better than Noory.  I think she gets more information from her guests.

I think, instead of turning against Heather, people's anger should be directed towards Art, who seemingly planned to turn the show over to her all the time.  Why blame her for wanting to do better in life?  She did not betray our trust.

"All the time" starting when?

Yeah, sure. "Ridiculous nonsense"...oh the irony. Where do you get your FACTS? From "scientists" that the Koch brothers have hired? Step away from the far-right loon radio once in a while.

It's $20 to buy those likes-not a huge waste of money at all. I think some WadeHater bought them to talk about this and have a few laughs. It was pretty funny.

I don't think you can buy them for accounts other than your own, though I could be wrong. And as SWT pointed out, they don't need any outside help to look bad.

When before he even did his first show last July he announced that he would have a co-host. Guess who the co-host was?

So everything between then & Nov. was a smokescreen?

There was such a backlash from the audience against Heather that he dropped that whole thing, but considering that he handed her the show at the end, he must have had her in mind the whole time. That's just my take anyway.

Art had been coaching Heather for months, though she was apparently unaware of the intent at the time.

I cannot read his mind, obviously. I don't even know when the two first met.  It appeared to me, when MITD first started, that that very will could have been his intent.  Perhaps that was in his mind and was partially why he left Sirius.  How should I know?  I think most people think there must have been something there other than what seem obvious.  I'm not saying they were lovers, just that he had it in his head to leave and turn the show over to her.

I've not gotten signals from her that she is manipulative, but she's doing a great job in sticking in there in spite of the negative reaction.

It was HIS show, and his decision to turn the show over.  He's a big boy.  He was in control.

Then why wasn't she the initial producer?

Because she was supposed to co-host.

You'd have to ask Art that. I did think it was fishy that he dropped Dr J like a hot potato to hire someone with no experience whatsoever, but at the time Art said that Dr J was "too busy". I took him at his word at the time. Who knows what the real reason was.

a soundclip is worth 1000 words. I added a cheesy 70s porno soundtrack to make it funnier

Brilliant!  :) :) :)

What  makes it even creepier is that there is some theory going on here that she got the job because she is his daughter? :o
