There's a lot more to Howard's story.  He was told by angelic beings that the world will be a very different place in a hundred and fifty years or so.  We will go back to our agrarian roots and live in an earth-friendly way.  We will have totally changed from our materialistic ways and basically cities will no longer exist as we know them today.  I think they said that we will still have our technology but it will be used very simplistically.  Obviously, there has to be a catalyst for all of this and it is hinted that there will be large scale doom for many people and perhaps the second coming.  I'll believe it when I see it.

Maybe.  It couldn't come soon enough but again I'm skeptical.  People have been saying this for centuries and nothing has happened.

By the way, Miku, I agree with you completely  about hell.  I have a hard time believing that a loving God would doom people to a permanent hell.  I can see sending them to hell for a long, long time if they've been evil but I'd give them another chance after that.  I do believe Hell is a real place though.  Too many NDE stories to totally dismiss.

Actor Curt Jurgens NDE was also quite hellish. He was not a religious man either.

"I had been looking up into the big glass cupola over the operating room. This cupola now began to change. Suddenly it turned a glowing red. I saw twisted faces grimacing as they stared down at me.
