The government sent investigators out there as early as 1913. Here is a report that was done by the government in 1971. Haven't read it yet.

In 2014, a professor from the University of Central Oklahoma conducted an experiment and explained the Spooklight as car headlights from the junction of Highway 137 and E 50 Road outside of Quapaw, Oklahoma.

It's almost 1am here,  way to early in the morning.  If these shows started way earlier in the evening my time, I would call in.
