McDonnell Douglas and Rockwell were pretty decent companies. I left shortly after Boeing bought Rockwell, and only worked with them, not for them after that. Basically doubled and tripled the costs to NASA for the same work.

I stayed with Boeing and ultimately ULA before my writing made enough to live on, and yes they gouged the hell out of NASA and set themselves up for companies like SpaceX to come in and undercut them. Boeing is an example of a company that fossilizes and becomes rigid with age and can't think outside their paradigms. At least Lockheed can still do that, but Boeing, meh.

Yeah, I went to work for Rockwell, then Boeing bought them.

Spoiler Alert: You were working for Cheney and the Rothschilds the entire time, culture victim. Thanks for all the war.

I was working for United Space Alliance (USA) when Boeing bought Rockwell. That got them into their 1st joint venture with LM and led them into ULA.

Lockheed is sort of shaking things up and thinking long-term. They've got the skunk works going after compact fusion energy and quantum computing. I expect good things from LM in the future. Boeing, not so much.

By the way, I don't want to rag on you too hard, since I doubt you were aware, then or now, that you were merely a cog in a soulless corporate war machine. Thanks for doing all that work on water desalinisation! Oh, wait.

Yeah, I might get one and try Linux on it. Do they have other video output besides HDMI?

Yeah, there might be better games but that's the first one to pop into my mind too so it must've left a lasting impression. I tend to think of the games that were specific to a system and I don't ever remember seeing that one for any other system.

"hey taxi, pad 69 please!"

GS is the crusty old sea captain and I'm moron Richard Dreyfus. At least I won't get eaten by the shark, but that's all I've got going for me.

I read all the Project Bluebook stuff the first month I was on the job. That was half the reason I picked the career field I did. Boy was that some boring non-information. I think it has all been declassified now.

Then again, if you knew that already, and you were just being meta, I'll suck on your clit.
