McDonnell Douglas and Rockwell were pretty decent companies. I left shortly after Boeing bought Rockwell, and only worked with them, not for them after that. Basically doubled and tripled the costs to NASA for the same work.

I stayed with Boeing and ultimately ULA before my writing made enough to live on, and yes they gouged the hell out of NASA and set themselves up for companies like SpaceX to come in and undercut them. Boeing is an example of a company that fossilizes and becomes rigid with age and can't think outside their paradigms. At least Lockheed can still do that, but Boeing, meh.

Lockheed is sort of shaking things up and thinking long-term. They've got the skunk works going after compact fusion energy and quantum computing. I expect good things from LM in the future. Boeing, not so much.

Yeah, there might be better games but that's the first one to pop into my mind too so it must've left a lasting impression. I tend to think of the games that were specific to a system and I don't ever remember seeing that one for any other system.
