ive seen this before and i do believe hoagie to be this stupid

I'm impressed. That is bold. Paper, not even fake-paper dealer legal temp plates but protest plates! We still have local nuts who say no DL  is necessary and get arrested.  In those days people were faking passports, licenses, etc. Even now some crazies are-  I always though he more of a sellout type but, I guess, he really was sorta a "Steal This Book" kind of guy? Good he went to jail though. He wrote his book and started his "career!" Much more worried now about those folks with fake and real passports and licenses here now.....

I think the title was "Fucking Ugly."  (I'm serious)

There was one similar when he costarred with Vanessa Del Rio.  I don't recall the name though.
"Hog nostrils in gravy"

I don't know. It's hard to say in the book business. I have heard the opposite, that he has sold many many copies of that book. The other thing you have to remember is the books are advertising for the speaking engagements. They make a heck of a lot of money doing those sometimes. Think of it as the books are calling cards for business they get in other areas, like speaking engagements and so on. There's money there, believe me.

Bingo. Actually works that way for a large section of the book business these days, not just woo but fiction and non-fiction in general.

A lot of people in the paranormal field complain that they don't make a lot of money. But there they are writing books and doing speaking engagements and doing UFO conventions. It's kind of funny right? How can they not be making money when they continue to do it over and over and over again.  Hmmm.

They are if their narrative is compelling enough.

There is that.  I do think there are a few authors that churn out a book a year that make a living off of  the books and speaking engagements. Nick Redfern and Brad Steiger come to mind. In Jacobs case though since he was a working professor, he probably didn't have a lot of time for speaking engagements.  Maybe I'm presuming too much.

That's why they call him David "on the fly" Jacobs.

What LEO is going to think some car he sees with a cardboard plate is real? Maybe once, if folks seem decent and there is damage to the car, regular plates blocked by a trailer, or something- but even then? No way. That was a protest- wanna get stopped protest.

5 pages per day, 7 days a week, you'll have a book written in three months.

Steiger kicks out more than one a year, or was. He's a book machine on level with Asimov, or at least was a few years ago. I was getting samples from him from Visible Ink Press on a seemingly monthly basis there for a while. He's up there in age now I think though. Guess he was padding the retirement cash.

If Jacobs wants proof he should look for alien DNA from the fetus that passed through the placenta and is still in the mother. Women who have never had sons have been found to have Y chromosomes from various pregnancies that never came to term, but I do not think alien DNA has ever been found.

Now it is like homecoming or college/fraternity or something? They come back to talk, congratulate, ask for money at times of life. He is bizarre. Now they can shop-lift? But we can't tell we eat.....here's the keg?

people tend to be idiots thats the problem

I really don't understand why Art chose to have Jacobs on again so soon.  I heard nothing new or earth-shattering.

I have this idea..hear me out.
We do a show on YouTube, maybe Google Hangouts live or better a pre recorded show while listening to Hoagie MST3k style.
It could be 2 or more BellGabbers on Skype using open broadcaster..i think it would be a hoot

You got it!
And when's Art gonna have Steve Quayle on? Why not, right?

Any stuff good? I'm not a huge Sci-Fi fan, sorry, but sometimes if well written or cool themes. But, in those who do, good stuff, or just "churning it out"-to use Norry term to an AUTHOR during an interview! And I mean "good" like enjoyable- not everything is a classic but enjoyable or interesting.

We discussed this in the OSOM thread a while back.

Yeah. I couldn't give the movie the attention it deserved, so I turned it back on. Jacobs is not saying anything different.

Agreed.  It seems like it's an obligation.  I could do without hearing him for a very long time.

Well, according to Whitley and his fist-hand experience, THAT kind of DNA is only found in the poop chute.
