I read nothing into the info gaps or how its described at this point.  FBI agents are lawyers (or CPAs) first, LEOs second.  The FBI rep; 2nd in command in L.A., won't say anything that could be a later legal issue. If they're still nonspecific by the late news time, I'll start to get twitchy about it.

I love that they broadcast but I've always wonder, especially now with modern tech and price-point, why they do so? And then cut if off when it gets good (blowing stuff up for example.) I guess there is a public right-to-know or ease of intra-agency communications when stuff is going live but not, yet, specific?

With a more Muslim bent. SLA, MOVE, etc was black nationalist leftist type of stuff, this seems to have some more Muslim-based or personal grudges, so maybe more like Hamaas Abdul Khaalis and the Islamic Center siege, maybe?

Cops are releasing all kinds of crazy info on the scanner. They just released the name of a victim who was shot over the scanner.

SLA killed a school superintendent? Who knows when people join crazy groups? Soft-target? Grudges, etc? You can't get into some people's heads. Why did rich white kids join up to fight some super radical black communist revolutionary 'army?' One can't simply blame drugs or the zeitgeist. Weird stuff happens. This seems more planned than a simply 'party insult' gone wrong though. But if it was two women involved it could be more Muslim or cult-like?

Oh you can guarantee they will, at least try, to drop it. This might be too hard because too big. But they will, of course, 'spin' for the usual anti-gun and more surveillance of everyone (not targeted or profiling threats, of course.) And, oddly, it wasn't blacks that were shot by other blacks and, to them, "black lives matter" only if killed by cops or whites. Did you see the hesitancy against the "T" word by the FBI guy earlier? But how instantly the media, administration, twitters etc labelled the "self-designated women" (from the document he filed in Colorado) nutjob shooter in Colorado "white Christian male" and dubbed it the "Planned Parenthood shooting"- even when the local LEOs were saying they didn't know motivation and the location was a fluid one? Having said that I don't like any crazy shooters and hope they all go down by LEOs, armed citizens, or get the needle.
