where do they find these bottom-of-the-barrel callers?
"uh... I'm scared of my own shadow, and I didn't even know there was a 7.0 quake and tsunami today here in Japan where I live... but if I had to pick a random candidate without looking at any of the issues, I guess I'd go with racist Donald Chump... and how are there 25 airs in a day when there's only 24 time zones?"

Nope. We speculated you two were celebrating in the shed alone.

Well instead of presenting us flowers and welcoming us as liberators, they were trying to kill us.  They must not have read the script.

The entire Middle East is drawn up around arbitrary political boundaries. Without going back to 632 when the Shia/Sunni division occurred and then mapping every fork in the road about who invaded who, when; who colonized who when, who allied with who when, and so on and so forth, you can never stop placing blame, and anyone that lives and breathes today is being impacted in one way or another about decisions being made yesterday, today and tomorrow...

It's pretty clear the world is facing a threat that is as close to all out anarchy as you can get, and there is no plausible answer that I can think of.  Maybe letting the Russians try for awhile is the way to go.  They don't seem to have as many lawyers drawing up rules of engagement, profiling, news reports of civilian casualties, etc...

It sure would be nice if the US could go back to its posture before WWI, but we got thrust on the world stage. I want to wake up in the morning and find out that all Imams have come together to denounce the violence and to denounce all Islamic extremism.  Wait for it...

Some pundits estimate he made $35 Billion from the Iraq war.  I would bet it's much more than that.

He is also the former CEO of Halliburton.
Smart guy, I recall  watching many conversations with him. Hilarious. He got them right, maybe not as right as the Brzezinski and Kissinger but that guy got it done!

*laughs*  This young man has every reason to be concerned.  It was the Japanese who said they had no reason to fear a terror attack on their nuclear reactors because gun ownership was illegal in Japan.

That was me. I am scared. I'm very well aware of what the Japanese ignorance to the world is. I don't know, I keep up with the news in the States and its...amazing to me. My wife thinks I'm paranoid, but...shit, I don think so.

You could argue it all started with Reagan. If only we had let the Soviets crush the Islamic extremists in Afghanistan...

Okay, now I know you're joking. Sorry. Was taking your posts seriously. This one is hilarious.

Jesse has always supported our troops. the band was Eagles of Death Metal, American band was targeted in France. Think about it for a minute. I have just tuned in, not read any of the other comments. So if this was already stated, sorry.

Someone said; "This generation is a liability, not an asset".
I'm inclined to agree.

They said that about the baby boomers?

Earthquake of Okinawa wouldn't necessarily be felt here. As for racism..lblah blah blah.

Evening all ...

Well, looks like the "JV" team is at it again.

Excuse me while I catch up and read posts to get caught up. Been busy drinking way too much wine with the missus on date night.

Too much - or not quite enough?

Maybe cuz Jimmy Church is on C2C and they can't keep up with the intellect.

mortalwombat

Art, regarding Windows 10 - always wait until Microsoft releases the ".1" version with fixes later on...

Windows is a service now, so it doesn't really work that way any more.

The best way to approach Windows 10 is to upgrade, switch off all privacy settings as desired, and use it for a while.  If, after a certain period of time, you find you don't like it for any reason, you can easily downgrade back to your previous OS and setttings, (Win8, 7 etc) with the click of a button.  I've tested that process and it works amazingly well.

Judging by the glass of scotch in my hand ... apparently not quite enough. Pretty wife asleep next to me and unaware of my online rantings.

Horrific bit of luck. U2 was playing Paris on Saturday, if you're going for a Black September/Munich type of world wide attention grab, that's it. I think Eagles of Death Metal were a crime of opportunity on a truly terrible scale.

SaucyRossy

I could be wrong, but didn't the spetznats kill a ton of civilians during that crisis?
