Cattle have a 10 month gestation period...

Last January 2016 we had an extremely warm month, (it was in the 70’s), before the two ice storms in February, (also the temperature stayed in the 30’s for the months of February and March)...

Last year’s weather was weird; weather no one had seen since the 1940’s…

About pastures, yes there is grass mostly year round, except when we have the odd snow/ice storm...

The cattle are feed in the winter with the hay we bale in the summer/fall...

I have two main fields, when the cattle are in the summer (west) field; I let the winter (east) field’s hay grow to be baled in the summer/fall…

On average, 12 head of cattle eat one of those large round bales every 4-7 days...

PS: This year we have a new weird weather, high temperatures and no real rain...
Less than 4 inches of rain since May; the ground is bone dry...
Temperatures in the 90's since June; today it is going to be 85...
(Normal weather for October is rainy and in the 50's-60's)...

As to Wells asking about what happens if Hillary's indicted, I heard just recently that Obama intends to pardon her no matter what.  I hope it's either misinformation or just a rumor.  I wouldn't be surprised if there's a "Mutual Full Pardon" agreement hidden away somewhere.  I could be wrong.

Hi Bomar,

I totally respect that viewpoint BUT the 3rd party candidates have no chance of winning so besides the fact that you can say "I didn't vote for EITHER of them", you really are wasting your vote.
I too did this in 1992 and voted for Ross Perot. I don't regret it because I detest both Bush AND Clinton but the fact was we were stuck with Bill Clinton and all of his scandalous behavior for 8 years.

I agree with John B that this election really matters and while Trump has many flaws he may actually try to change the horrible course our country has been on since Reagan left. A Clinton presidency will see us continuing to be sold out, more jobs leaving as the TPP becomes reality, wide open borders, the appointment of a bunch of activist judges who will destroy what is left of the Constitution and I fear the end of the great country that we grew up in.
