They were pretty good...better than anything else at the time...then The Night Stalker was on TV! I liked that show a lot!

Me too.   The bastard of a remake was brought up here for discussion last week.  What a wasted attempt that was. (the show...not the discussion)  Ugh.

I love Farscape. I'm going to do that one too......as soon as I can get over my Bellgabber addiction.

It's all part of my attempt to avoid any and all election coverage for the next year.

And Rod Serling's language was an early form of virtual reality.

Ooh...that's deep.

Dave might start licking you if you discussed that on his show.

A shitty video being shilled? A warp drive? A time machine? Crop circles? ??? ??? ???

Thoughts on Night Gallery?

Served terribly by syndication. Truncated episodes, many vignettes removed, if not lost. The interpolation of "The Sixth Sense" episodes into Night Gallery adding to the jumble. Good enough, but could be scattershot and coming across as a macabre Love American Style as too many shows featured actors who'd been in prior episodes.

Night Gallery was great until Gary Collins "Sixth Sense" was mixed in.

Maxwell should just come right out and say how much more he's looking to raise in R&D to get his saucer-thing going. And then we can use hour 3 as a telethon-style set-up, with perks like 'taste the grass that was crop circled' as incentives.

hows the show tonight ?

I'm enjoying it but I'm also enjoying my scotch so I may have the two mixed up a bit.

Uncle Duke

"Disassemble a quadratic equation"?  He doesn't understand 8th grade algebra.

How could you do better than a wheat field? Land on the white house lawn for starters.

I saw a documentary on Serling and they mentioned some of those points about Night Gallery...Serling didn't have the creative control, etc...

I do agree.  I think Christopher George was in a few.

I feel like you've been wanting to get that out for a while and you just needed someone to ask for it.  ;D  You're welcome.   ;)
