Pyramid on Ceres Answer?

I just took a long, hard, close-up look at the Ceres Pyramid picture and what I came up with seems to fit, but can't be possible... Or can it... Look at the picture and think of the "pyramid" above the crater as a popped cork that landed upside down and 1/4 turn counter clockwise.... The outline of the pyramid seems to almost exactly fit! It cannot be that easy to explain, can it?

Ask Astroguy. He's a scientist actively involved in the mission. He's pretty clued up with visual interpretation too. But it won't be pyramids.

If I was a scifi writer, this could be an alien mining operation that does laser-like slices on the sides and has some tech that enables it to lift and flip, allowing easy access to what element or antiquity  they need....

I am *not* involved in the Dawn mission.  I don't know what current explanations are floating around.  But I can say that crater ejecta doesn't work that way, just sorta scooping something out and depositing it like that next to the crater.

I am *not* involved in the Dawn mission.  I don't know what current explanations are floating around.  But I can say that crater ejecta doesn't work that way, just sorta scooping something out and depositing it like that next to the crater.

Not pyramids then? What sort of scientific research is that if there are no pyramids on the outer most reaches of the solar system? Has it been looked into properly at 19.5 degrees?

That was actually San Diego that the kid stole the tank. I know because I was sitting in my office speaking on the phone, casually looking out the window when the tank drove right past my office window.

I ran outside just in time to see him demolish 2 cars. He was heading for the Wienerschnitzel up the street and I though for sure he was going to take it out. And that would have pissed me off to a great degree, because that was my favorite place to eat lunch. Turns out, he didn't'.

Now that the spoon has been positively identified efforts should be focused toward locating the remains of the dish, the cow, the cat (last seen with fiddle), and the little dog.
