It's a Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy reference.

This sux..show is almost over. My favorite so far, but I'm a weirdo I guess

Oh dear, caller totally failed with his Hitchhiker's Guide reference.  Marvin would be bummed.

What's the frequency, Kenneth?" is your Benzedrine, uh-huh
I was brain-dead, locked out, numb, not up to speed
I thought I'd pegged you an idiot's dream
Tunnel vision from the outsider's screen
I never understood the frequency, uh-huh
You wore our expectations like an armored suit, uh-huh

Thanks for the clarification. I thought he was making a really misplaced dirty joke.

Art doesnt know Hitchhikers Guide?

Actually has Art read alot of sci-fi?  I know he knows Contact from the movie, but I don't remember him mentioning much classic sci-fi lit.

Not alone my friend.  I'm so enjoying this.  I wish we had another hour.

Alien on a horse standing on a starship. Sounds like an album cover

No one can get their hands on Art's pendant.

BS how? I think the SETI program is great and Shostak and others there are doing great work. Yes, he's skeptic -- but we need skeptics because good skeptics keep the field honest.

The issue I have with Shostak is I am certain he doesn't believe a word that comes out of his pie hole.  He is the most disingenuous person in "science".

Holy cow this caller is as nuts as tonights guest. This is wonderful!

Bradsmith313

So, Art's not much of an sf fan. Meh. I actually didn't care for that series either . . . .

Kevin Sorbo

"You got that weird look!" "...mhmm." Good job caller. Best moment of this guest.

Art hasn't read shit other than junk like Dean Koontz. I doubt he's even read big hitters like Heinlein. At least Hoagland has read the genre and met some of the players.

You can lock down Sasquatch with DNA transistors?

Art seems pretty open about his guests, I like that.

Me too. Some of Art's best shows had nothing to do with typical Art Bell topics.

LMAO, ohh this caller made my night  "being on a horse on a starship"  "I project energy out of my eyes"
