But adults like you call people names just for having a different opinion? It is funny how the skeptics who can debate it with maturity is always called names, instead of being proven wrong.

Those are descriptors which are accurate. You are lying. You are twisting others' words. You shall be called out. Aren't you ready for it? Are we a bit sensitive?

These damn time travelers. Sick of them.

So did I miss anything last hour?  I had to have a microwave lasagna to soak up all the wine.  I've still got two hours of Hoagiepaloosa after this.
Sadly not.. Art is great like usual, but the callers have been incredible dissapointing today.

I don't understand why these callers are just calling in with nothing to talk about.

I was just pointing out how immature you were acting, and yet you called me a kid for simply having a opinion that differs from yours.
So I am going to just ignore you from now on like mature adult I am.

I guess just cuz they want to talk to Art.  I can kind of understand that.  just sayin.  I understand how you feel tho.

I don't think we need to spend any time trying to determine cause, accountability, etc.  We're currently faced with serious conditions and circumstances and we need to focus our energy on doing what we can to maybe lessen it, and how to best survive and thrive.  I don't care what caused the changes, the changes are here.  Let's deal with them.

I would agree with you, except for the fact that the selections in bold kind of contradict themselves. If we don't know the cause (we don't, in my opinion) it's kind of hard to address the issue (not entirely, but kind of). That's why I support continuing research into finding things that may help, while I disagree with making major economic sacrifices towards implementing those efforts at this time. We have some very good leads which may well end up being correct, but based on my interpretation of available information we simply don't know enough at this point. Will it be too late by the time we do? Maybe. I know there are plenty of people who disagree with me, but this is my current position based simply on approaching the issue with as much open-mindedness as I can. I'm not a scientist, I just listen to what the reputable sources say and weigh their opinions against the difficulties of maintaining a healthy society if global warming isn't going to kill us relatively soon. I hope this position makes sense. It's a complicated problem to address.

I do not believe anybody about anything. The truth is not out there, it is in.

(Redacted) get this guy as a guest /\

I think you have to be looking forward to open lines to appreciate them. When a guest doesn't show, and Art has to do open lines instead,  it throws everything out of whack sometimes. It just isn't the same for some reason.

I so agree.  I was amped up all day long, whetting my appetite to hear Andrew Basiago, who I hadn't heard in a while and was looking forward to an update from him, and to see how Art would handle his "on Mars with Obama" story, and instead it's another night of open lines (and only about 1/3 of the callers are all that interesting, at best).  If I don't hear soon that Basiago has been rescheduled and directed to be near a landline phone, in case Skype doesn't work out again,.... then I call bullshit on that "too much hum on his Skype line" excuse.

I find myself in the same frame of mind.

It depends... Are you passionate about climate change and do you want to get upset with strangers on a message board who disagree with you?  Or do you deny climate change and have some talking points you feel are important to post on the internet (again)?

If so, you missed something...

Also, you missed this...

I must be getting grumpy. I'm skeptical of everything these days...if it makes sense, it might be false, but if its really weird, its true, up is down, black is white...its all so insane.

Naaaah. Keep trying. Maybe you'll get better at it. No doubt your paycheck depends on your continued spewing.
