If I remember correctly, Travis actually says he was abducted by humanoids who look a lot like us and who were more benevolent than depicted.

Yeah...and I don't think he said there was any medical type procedures or little evil gray looking guys....dunno for sure though.

Some of the movie was based on his story, certainly not all of it. It definitely wasn't a documentary.
