My problem being an old listener is that I lose interest in listening. It's almost all BS - and I'm the type of person that finds reality much more interesting than fiction. I started listening to art when I was 18 and it was a life changing experience back then. The fact is that not much has changed in the topics and not many that I can tolerate anymore.

I like that Art is back, I love his voice and personality, it just doesn't have that sense of mysteriousness anymore.  My mind had been expanded, but then upon the realization 99% of the guests were full of shit, it closed up and cynicism took over.

I wish the show would go in a more high brow science stance when dealing with the paranormal.

I've been listening to MitD through my laptop speakers (nice but not great) and my cell phone...  When the rest of my family goes to Japan on Friday, I will have an OPEN LINE FRIDAY BLOWOUT.  I'll be pumping the sound through my home theater setup.

There are about 5 potential guests that can deliver that. High brow science and the paranormal do not mesh well. You'd get about a week of guests out of that.

Anyone have college dreams? I constantly dream I am back in college and one of these happens:

1. I realize I signed up for a class but never went to it. Today is the midterm exam.
2. I am taking an exam and cannot answer any of the questions while everyone else in the class is scribbling away.
3. I am graduating from college but have no idea what to do next. I don't want to move back home with mom and dad.
4. I need to find a class but don't know where it is, so I just walk around trying to find the class room.

I have had number 1 too many times.  I'm always glad to wake up and realize graduation was a long time ago.
