Here is the secret. WRITE DOWN WHAT YOU WANT TO SAY! You may get stage struck when suddenly you are on the air. Have your comments written out so you can calmly read what you want to say.
Works for LMH

That was a good show.  Definitely going to replay it tomorrow in the day for a better listen.

Congratulations!
So psyched. Got to pick on Richard after he forced me to and now I got to talk to one of my heroes! Thank you. :D

Dr.Pepper

I had an obe/alien abduction occurrence.  Not that I truly am comfortable believing that I did.

One night I woke up suddenly during the night.  I woke up laying on my stomach and had this overwhelming sense I shouldn't have woken up then.  It was impossible to see anything and I felt something pinning me down from behind.  The force that was holding me down seamed fluid based, and after a few seconds of this I heard a depressurization sound in my ears.  Though I longer felt any force pinning me down, my whole body was numb and unresponsive for about 30 seconds or so.  It was quite vivid.

Still gives me chills, but I wouldn't say anything conclusively about what happened.

Yes, I do this every time I call someone, and it makes them think I'm intelligent!

Hahahaha.

Now I am hearing her voice in my head, droning on and on, reading pages uninterrupted like a text-to-speech service.

That New Zealand caller...  Uh, flow with it.  You already got off on a wrong foot.  Came off rather poorly.

Wonder if Art blacklists asswipe callers... or puts them to the front of the line on "bad guest" nights?

Good night, potato people.
Good night friend of the aliens.  Now it is time to listen to the funniest show on Earth.

...Federico Pistono about technological unemployment. J. Storrs Hall about nanotechnology. Freeman Dyson on Climate Change.

Dyson would be good on whatever he wanted to talk about.  For nanotech/A.I. and such I'd love Art to get Bart Kosko back.

Why should you care what strangers say on this little forum?  Go for it!  I am sure you have a lot to contribute.
I don't care too much what people say based on what I type. But for some reason, if I gather thenerve to call, and everyone says how annying this dumb chick is (me), well...I dunno. 😵

Lol, I wrote bullet points on my hand while on hold. The judgment here is too real! I didn't want to be a U7 head shake at some point.

Sean92008

Night all.  Hold your loved one tight and make sure those who you care for know how you feel about them.  Tomorrow may never come.

Yeah, Duke, but there just aren't very many guests out there than can deliver what Hancock does and the show must provide 4 guests a week. I mean, you can't manufacture guests and many of the good ones from the old days are dead. So let's be constructive and come up with some and post them. I'm sure Art and Dr. J read the live show threads, so let's come up with some suggestions. I gave mine. I'll give more. Federico Pistono about technological unemployment. J. Storrs Hall about nanotechnology. Freeman Dyson on Climate Change.

Give suggestions. Let's be productive.

I'd love to hear Art interview John Rhodes again. He occasionally appears on Snoory as a "cryptid hunter" or something along those lines. He did a show with Art in the early 90s about reptilians. This was before David Icke and others had really popularized the reptilian meme. Instead of talking about them being ancient aliens/Annunaki, he focused on reptilian imagery/motifs in history and culture. Would love to hear them go over that again.

Bonnie Crystal on underground/cave exploration.

Randall Carlson on prehistory, catastrophes, and ancient civilizations.

Hell yeah, have him talk about Dyson Spheres. Bart Kosko works, but there are tons and tons of other people in that field now.

That can be endearing.  Just ask Art to tell the BellGab crowd to be nice.

No offense, but it sounds like a classic hypnogogic event where you awaken but your body is still asleep (paralyzed) and you hallucinate a great pressure on your body from above. Of course, if there was anything moving in and out of your ass, then you may have had a incubus making love to you.

The Theremin sounds like it is played by a guy with Parkinsons...

Sorry, bad taste.

Sweet episode when you have the behind the scenes stories in mind.

TNG was incredible.  I didn't miss too many episodes back then, same with Art.

RCH addressing the audience dropoff...  Interesting.
