They're comparing people's reaction to Cecil's senseless death to the Planned Parenthood scandal. What amazes and saddens me is that the pro life crowd is invalidating how people feel about Cecil's death, and yet expect these same people to automatically support their outrage over the handling of the unborn. These are BOTH tragic and unacceptable events. Both groups have an opportunity to acknowledge each other's POV and find a common ground to express their concerns and demand that it be stopped. Needless suffering and killing should concern everyone. It's maddening when people play politics instead of making a sincere effort to change attitudes. I suspect expect other agendas pushers to weigh in soon.

Hey, for the past few years we have been harangued by the social outrage folks about the evils and prevalence of "bullying" and "cyber-bullying" and now some of the same people think it is a good thing? 

And where is the moral outrage over Oriental Medicine? That causes more endangered animals to be killed (even here in the USA) than a so-called "trophy hunter" and they don't pay money that at least gets some money into the local communities (and believe me, they need hard currency in Mugabe's Zimbabwe.)

I think it's more like having a surplus of $50,000 and deciding to kill something as an appropriate way to spend it.
