Yep she rocks.  I don't get the "boring" charges - I usually find her compelling to listen to.

To me she seems like an entire different guest when interviewed by Art compared to Noory. I will admit I think she is boring when I heard her interviewed by Dave.

I think this was a very good show, glad I listened live.

I wonder how LMH makes a living?  Is she a waitress on the side?

I've wondered this very thing abou many guests I've heard on C2C and similar shows over the years.  Similarly, how often have you heard a guest say something like, "Oh, I've just got so much going on, multiple projects in works all over the world" in response to a question about what they are currently working on?

If I would have listened to 1.5 more minutes of her droning, disconnected thoughts I would have blown my f'in head off.
Even my wife (who was two rooms and three walls away) said "that woman is driving me crazy!"

Random thought, it would be super cool to give Peter Davenport a weekend show on DMRN. How cool would it be to have a weekly UFO sightings show? Davenport is such a stuffed shirt too that I imagine it would be ironically funny.

I had a phone call during some of that.  Did she say they were cut in half vertically, or horizontally?  Which half is left behind, or does it vary?
Vertically.  She said the upper part was "like a puppet."  Yeesh.  Both halves left behind, but not necessarily in the same spot.  One could be in a neighbor's yard.  Lovely.  :P

LMH is so used to reading script and her Earthfiles outlines without interruption pre-art-return, that I imagine it is difficult for any host to slow her down.  She has mastered the relentless infodump.  My wife, too, was exhausted in trying to keep up.

I believe she is clearly brilliant, and passionate about her work, which I respect and love.

Art tried to slow her pace, throughout, with more detailed questions and lead-ins, but boy oh boy would it be tough to slow her down as patiently as he tried.

I've always thought LMH to be at her best, when she expands on one bombshell at a time, instead of laying down a series of bombshells and ideas without interruption.  It's tough to hang on!  The last hour was the best.

Art's (paraphrased) question of the evening relating to cat mutilations: "and one day, perhaps (pause) half-humans?"

A close second was his vet story proposing cats to be aliens.

It is so awesome having Art back.  With so many clouds behind him now, he is all sunshine.

I`m a HUGE LMH fan. She is what is good about the whole paranormal genre. I love her reports, and I have no problem subscribing to her website.

She and I traded emails a while back regarding an idea I had. As busy as she is, she could not have been more gracious and patient with me. A true professional!

Sure would seem nice if Art were to play a bumper tribute to Dieter Mobius! He recently just passed away the other night....it would completely fit in with his show

Dieter Moebius: 1944-2015.

Edgar Froese of Tangerine Dream died in January of this year. He was the leader and visionary of the band.

Having talked and corresponded with Peter over the years, I doubt he would have the time to perpare for/do
a weekly radio show.  With the exception of a webmaster,  he's quite the one man band relative to the operation of NUFORC.  I also get the impression he isn't one to delegate, despite having had volunteer offers from very capable supporters of the Center to help him out.

I've enjoyed older recordings of LMH  - but in the past few years even her voice was sounding old and tired. But - she sounded much better talking with art and I found myself paying attention,

Linda isn`t really that old. She`s roughly the same age as Art.

And I understand she`s in great shape.

Such flights are not all that unusual, they are intel gathering flights and have been happening since the 1950s.  Admittedly those flights by the Russians all but ceased with the fall of the Soviet Union and throughout the fiscal crises the Russians faced afterwards, but have been more frequent as of late.  It's gamesmanship, primarily in response to the US/NATO position over Ukraine.  The US has made similar flights for decades, in fact the US has gone the Russians one better, having flown over the USSR/Russia with a/c like the U-2, SR-71 and more exotic platforms.  A good number of US (and a few Brit iirc) intel gathering a/c have been shot down over the years by the Soviets/Russians, PRC, and North Korea, most in international air space.  To my knowledge, the US has never shot down a Soviet/Russian intel a/c off our coast (or territories), but I've heard stories that we have come close with the Russians departing only after they realized US a/c had fire control radar locked onto them.

BACK TO LMH--

In the first hour, she told Art the US government has known they were dealing with extraterrestrials since early in WWII.  I am curious as to what she was referring to with that statement?  Battle of Los Angeles?  Alleged UFO crash in Missouri in 1940?  Other ideas?

Yeah, like Art has heard of Dieter Moebius. I doubt Art has Kluster, Cluster, or Harmonia in his record collection. His knowledge of electronic music is superficial, and extends to The Chase by Moroder, and Cusco's cheesy ethno-new age pap. Look at his other music choices: ABBA, Crystal Gayle, etc. he's not exactly cutting edge.

You do know that independent media observers have done a fact check on Fox News. Only 14% of what is said on Fox News is true. Fox is an ENTERTAINMENT channel. They said so in court! If you rely on Fox News for your sense of reality, you are going to be one twisted distorted ignorant dude.

I love Peter Davenport, that man has been doing so much interesting and good work for the last few decades. You don't think it'd be a good thing for him to have a platform and get attention? If he had a one hour show on Sundays where he talks about UFO trends, hot spots and crazy recent sightings, it would bring him a lot of attention and a lot of support money.

I'd love to hear Peter do a weekly UFO show, my point is I don't think he has the time, maybe even interest, to do it.  I do know he'd welcome financial support for the Center, but I don't honestly think an internet radio show with maybe a couple hundred listeners on DMDN or KGRA is going to open a floodgate of donations.

I dont listen/watch Fox, but you certainly strike me as a MSNBC fan.  It has the same problem and the same issues as Fox....do you agree?

As a matter of fact, pretty much all of the MSM is that way.  You have to digest a whole lot of crap to distiill any actual fact from any of them.  Thank God for the internet....at least there you can have some control of the crap you read.

Surmo

Peter Davenport is great!  Some people complain he's too dry, but I like a more
matter-of-fact approach to such subjects.  Makes me think they are serious and
actually working at it.  Like Jacques Valee.

New show is awesome. LMH was the only reason I would still tune into Coast. She's obviously way better on MITD.

One complaint: That stupid screaming lady advert that wakes up the wife and makes the cat freak out. Please get rid of it  8)

I'm so glad Art Bell is back. I haven't listened to that other paranormal show since Monday. Now I hear the voice of Linda Moulton Howe. Howe is one of guests I usually skip but sometimes I like to get a big laugh out of her. Only Linda can take a story about ground noises and turn it into a major poll shift and tectonic plate move that will take out six western states and lead to millions upon millions of casualties. I can't tell you how many time Howe has reported on a coming doomsday situation to happen and it of course never does. Once she got into a minor argument with a scientist about a coming solar flare. The scientist said it might cause a few minor communications problems. But Linda just had to tell that some quack scientist she knows about predicted the same solar flare would cause widespread chaos and possibly singe the Earth. How can anyone listen to this woman and take anything she says seriously is beyond me. One day Art my realize that she is totally full of it. :)

Alright... gotta say it.... Linda is one of my least favorite guests. She's just not to my taste, and seems to drone on for long periods lulling me into a state of catatonic discomfort.

Having said that- she should still be a guest from time to time because a lot of people like her. But I just don't get it. True, she is better with Art than Noory.

Can't handle it.

LOL, for what, him living in his house or apartment?   He has one line that he lets the answering machine get, and he'll call you back if he deems you interesting enough.   Half of the reports he gives on the air seem to be chinese lanterns to me.

I thought the exact same thing.  I wasn't much of fan of hers when she was on C2C, but really enjoyed her and Art last night.

She can run on a bit but as a general rule her research is solid and I like the stuff she talks about. Any of these people talking for too long without a question can put me to sleep.... in fact when I have trouble sleeping I run one of these old shows on youtube lol

Fantastic show, LMH is so much better with Art.

Art on the airwaves, new seasons of xfiles and twin peaks... We live in magical times, friends.

Yeah I was LMH-peaking in the last hour.  Had to listen to Hoagie ramble for awhile afterwords to help me come down gently.

I imagine he's too busy yelling at clouds and barking at the neighborhood kids to get off his lawn. As long as I can remember he's always been a fucking dickhead on C2CAM.
