K....here's my take on it. lol Don't be frightened. hehehe

I suspect that you kind of 'slept walked' or...let's put it this way...a less than conscious part of yourself got up from the nap and went to a desk or table and drew this drawing. First of all, if you look at some of the markings on the drawing, you can see that there is not just one line defining a square box...there are several and they are not straight or well defined. This tells me that you were explaining something as you were drawing it, probably explaining something to yourself or another part of yourself. Also noticed the little 'dots in a couple of the boxes....this seems to be where you may have rested the pencil and then tapped it harder, again, as you were trying to explain something.

If this is the case, the instruction seems clear....the box with the big x in it is not the right place to be, it won't work there. Over where the 'dots' are is where you are saying something needs to happen or is the place to start. Notice also that there is a doorway marked for entrance to the whole 'map'...this is likely the place that represents 'this is what I need to change' or 'this is where I enter the solution'.

k...still with me?

Now then, it is very likely that the 'gateway' represents the mechanism for change or how you are going to go about it. Gateways are boundaries between one from of existence to another or one 'state' to another 'state'. The circles most probably represent a strong definition between one world and another....or between one state of being to another. They, according to the drawing, can only be crossed by the 'gateway'.

So, what is going on in this drawing? Well, I suspect...and it is only my opinion...that some part of yourself was witnessing or instructing another part of yourself on how to grow or evolve to a new understanding about something. It is also interesting that you drew this during the time between 'working life' and 'soon to be vacation life'....again, two different ways of looking at the world.

It has always been my experience that when you wake up in the midst of a dream or when you remember it very vividly and strongly in the morning, it is because your unconscious mind wants to send an important message to your conscious or 'awake' mind. Imagine, then, how important it must be when your unconscious actually draws a picture for you!

Something in your mind and deep within yourself is getting ready to change and evolve, Whitecrow. I think this is a very positive experience.

rosie

Fascinating Rosie, you are really on to something! I do feel as if I am on a precipice of change. Don't have time right now to post more. Will later tonight.

quickly though... this whole drawing and suit thing is reminding me of the movie "Close Encounter of the Third Kind" ... where they can't get away from thinking about Devil's Tower.

Found at work today a grey button in office sofa, came home and it matches a sleeve button of the same grey pin striped suit. And get this, 3 other buttons are missing too. (see attached picture) I pay very close attention to my clothing and cant imagine how I'd lose 3 buttons without noticing it.

Any help is appreciated .... Praise MV

Beautiful!  But don't hold back on us now, you let the cat out of the bag, so you MUST tell us about all the mysteries it is full of!!!!

From Wikipedia:
The Legend of Green Mantle[edit]
The Legend of Green Mantle is about an Ojibwe chief who upon hearing news of an imminent attack from the Sioux tribe instructs his daughter, Princess Green Mantle, to devise a plan to protect her people. She enters the Sioux camp along the Kaministiquia River and, pretending to be lost, she bargains with them to spare her life if she will bring them to her father's camp. Placed at the head of the canoe, she instead leads herself and the Sioux warriors over the falls to their deaths, sparing her tribe from the attack. The legend claims that one can see Green Mantle when looking into the mist of Kakabeka Falls, a monument to the princess that gave her life to save her people.[10] Other versions of the legend say she came across the Sioux herself, and later jumped out of the canoe ahead of the falls and swam to shore, leaving the Sioux to go over the falls, then ran back to the camp to warn her people

You know, it doesn't surprise me that odd coincidences are happening in your 3D daily life right now. Always, always, always....when the mind begins to open, 'coincidences' begin to happen. In fact, I strongly suspect...heck, I know...that that is what 'coincidences' really are: the mind becoming aware of itself.

Interesting that you are focused on 'pin stripe' suits...I noticed that in your first post. I would expect that the 'straight lines' of a pin stripe mean something to your inner self. Perhaps to do with the corporate or material world? That also seems to be what the pencil drawing may be referring to. Pin stripes, circular boundaries and gateways....an interesting dilemma, is it not?

:)

I missed you Brig!  I thought of you when I saw those waterfalls.  I gave a gift of cedar to the Princess.  Then, I thought of you.

WhiteCrow:  The line down the middle of your drawing or sketch looks like a river to me.  Also, I wanted to post one more pic of Kakebeka Falls, Thunder Bay Ontario.  It is an awesome place, and full of mystery.
childhood years in Atikokan, climbing Mt. McKay, paddling canoes through Quetico Park. listening to loons.... and Kakebeka Falls. thanks for evoking the memories... hugs!

Glad I could invoke the memories Maureen.  I actually jumped in the river after my hike.

I only feel comfortable when wearing shades of grey to black suits with thin close together pin stripes. They are my uniform. Been that way for decades, tried shades of blue suits in past but never liked them.

Interesting development tonight. My mother who is also a member of BellGab and an Art Bell fan stopped over a few hours ago, to welcome us back from vacation.
She is an Astrologer and can see people's Aura. Before I was born she changed the spelling of first name to Aura. Her given name by her mother, was Ora, pronounced the same as Aura.

In the past she said my Aura was mostly shades of red and brown, now it has a lot more yellows and blues. That made her very happy. .... Interesting observation, seeing these new colors getting stronger in my aura, made her happier than the new car, I gave her a few years back.

I made her a copy of the drawing and said she would study it and let me know.

She took the grey suit with the two lost sleeve buttons, and said she would rework them with one found today and sew three buttons on each sleeve.  Thanks Mom, I love you!

I still want to know where you hid the body. I have worn uniforms for way to many years. Between the Army and pilot suits of one sort or another, I figure about 40+ years. Now that I am for the most part retired, the uniform is jeans and a tee shirt. That is unless I have to don one for a formal ceremony. Thankfully it's not too often.
BTW I'm glad you said the I love you mom. My mom died back in may and I didnt get the chance. That was the focus of the trip last week. To say the same to my dad. Your a good man WC

I thank you...  Glad you got to see your Dad and express those simple words that mean so much. You too are good and enjoy your posts.

About the body, maybe it's a metaphor for me.
My mom is on the phone talking about me with wife.

Rosegirl, what do you make of the missing buttons?  Could it be that WhiteCrow got his arm caught in something?  This is weird.

I was thinking he might have been "fooling around" on the couch, since that is where he found the buttons.

I think he may have had some sort of struggle.  It is not like WhiteCrow to forget what happened.

Could it be as simple as this:  WhiteCrow really really needed a vacation and was so exhausted he fell asleep and had a nightmare?
