Just love that. That tears it...I think I am going to talk about Native things on the show tonight. Such a wonderful culture.

Sounds WONDERFUL!! Sounds like a PLAN!

Yeah! If you've got stories phone in with them! I have a few but more is always best when talking about such lovely things.

Yeah and Im going to figure out a way to add the lyrics to the quotes page lol. Can you talk about the Long Houses and the Spirit sings of the Iroquois? and maybe.......................the People?

IMO good partnered radio or mulitple person radio happens when you feed off of each other. Last night I learned I could do that with the guys on the gabcast as well as I do with Rollye. Chemistry is egoless. But then again I have an ebb and flow kind of personality. I can lead or take a back seat. And I thrive in pressure situations. Balance is the key. Like any relationship if it is a struggle it is a bad fit.

hey serenity! You know about 'the people'? Why does that not surprise me? lol *big hug*

course, I don't think I can say too terribly much about them...but will mention them, sure. And the Spirit Songs and such....you know, I think it would be more respectful if a Native were to tell those stories. They are not my stories and they are very very private.

I will talk about some of my experiences with the Native culture....but Native Wisdom is theirs to discuss.

The strong personality thing is dead on. Omg I agree with White Crow??!!! Just kidding WC. We all have unique personalities and not everyone is going to get along. Also it is bell fucking gab. People are not known for being nice. Lmao. Art Bell himself said "vaguely" lovable. And being a public figure or wanting to be one means your whole life will be looked at under a microscope. It is one of the main reasons I am cool with doing what I do. Let 'em look I say.

Yeah, "public figure" and "privacy" don't generally go hand in hand.......best to get it all out there methinks.  Then people can move on to the next thing.

elwood also said:
Elwood : It’s 106 miles to Chicago, we’ve got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it’s dark and we’re wearing sunglasses.
Jake : Hit it!

I got a back-story about Jake and Elwood, since it seems to be the day for doing so.

As most know, I enjoy back-roads road trips, but its next to impossible to get Mrs Crow enthusiastic about hitting the road.
She has a world of reasons and worries not to go.. work, kids, grandkids, elderly parents, food spoiling in refrigerator  etc.
She very reluctantly agrees to go. First few hours of trip is spent, her replaying list of worries, while I try to remind silent and make grunting sounds, that I'm listening.

She falls a sleep while I drive, wakes up and asks "where we are?"
I have queued up in Motor Home stereo:

Elwood : It’s 106 miles to Chicago, we’ve got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it’s dark and we’re wearing sunglasses.
Jake : Hit it!

I light a fag and hand it to her... she puffs on it like a non smoker does.  And replies "Hit it"

We're off having a great time until the next problem... convincing her it's time to head home...

WOMEN ;)

Ok Ok its wasn't really about Jake and Elwood.
(smiley face wink winky for Nancy and Rosie)

Nice of you to say... you're so sweet... I so want to you call into one of the shows.

I know you don't Skype, either do I, but can Rosie call you from her Skype to your phone?
Not trying to make you feel uncomfortable, just saying, betcha you'd have some good stuff to share.

And don't encourage me for more pictures, I spent decades researching and traveling the Oregon Trail, Santa Fe Trail, Mormon Trail, Lewis Clark Voyage of Discovery, Indian Wars, Mining, Ghost Towns, 49ners, American Foreign Wars, Civil War, Billy the Kid, Lincoln County Wars to name a few  ...

I can go into full boring mode with the least provocation :)
^^^^ straight man line, what's you got SV?

Maybe one day White Crow.  I'm working up to it.  I am very shy.  How is Mrs. Crow?  Does she read our posts?

No she doesn't read my posts... I've always worked with lots of women.
Mrs Crow does wonder why I'm so friendly with women co-workers when she is at one of my work related events ;)

I am glad that there is a Bella-Haven thread for folks to come by, have coffee, share some love and hugs and good feelings ... AND I will proclaim for myself ... that yes I usually  post the majority in Bella-Haven ... but if and when I choose to post in any other forum thread ... So Be It (and I don't use't B-H rhetoric speak in those other discussions, but stay on topic) ...   (**I'm sure that snide remark wasn't meant  towards me exactly) ... but again, I will stand for what I believe and  never forgot
Je  Suis Bella-Haven and Je Suis BellGab !!

You go, girl!

Dear RoseGirl, I don't know anything about who did what with the start up of the Bella-Haven show or whose idea started the Bella-Haven thread.
I apparently assumed incorrectly, that Nancy was the main driving force, based solely on the interchange between you and Nancy on the live show.
Let's not get into that any more, water over the bridge thingie, my error and my apologies to you.

Heh. Yeah, that'll nip it in the bud.

I enjoyed you on the joint Bella-Haven show with Nancy.

As much as it pains me to admit it, I did too. Sociopaths are charismatic. Who knew?

I hope the spirit that you 'both' created with this thread and the show can live on in this thread.
Peace and love, better tomorrows.

(smiley face needs a cup of 'strong' coffee)

I agree with WhiteCrowâ€"the show, Bella-Haven, should live on in this thread.

I’m sure Lasha believes what she posted in her rant, but people perceive things differently. The idea of a radio show with two women discussing the paranormal may have been her idea, but Bella-Haven, as it existed, was very much Nancy. Lasha brought very little to that table. The biggest mistake Lasha made was to not understand Nancy’s goals for the show. It made little sense that she accepted Nancy’s invitation to join her if she had such a different objective. The biggest mistake Nancy made was to underestimate the importance of having two personalities that complement each other. That's why it made even less sense when Lasha maintained her willingness to continue with Bella-Haven, especially after Nancy listened to her remarks and appropriately decided to end the joint effort. Why would Nancy email her about anything when Lasha’s actions and admissions surrounding that last show really left no necessity to continue the conversation?

I assume The Outsider is much more fitting for Lasha. Of course it is, it's her show! There is a thread dedicated to that showâ€"why not invite those followers to that thread to chat? Leave Bella-Haven followers to Bella-Haven. I strongly request the Nancy dissing stop though (both passively and directly). Maybe Lasha can take a page from Nancy’s playbook and show some class.

Yes...peace and love, better tomorrows.

Hi Folks, how is everyone today?

RoseGirl

Morning kids!

Any news today? I'm bored.

Ran out of cream for my coffee this morning and had to drink it black. Not my favorite but at least it was coffee.

*note to self: always keep spare bottle of Nestlé's Caramel and Vanilla Coffee Mate in the back of the fridge.

:)

When Nancy and Rosie were describing the show to me, I had the impression from both Nancy and Rosie that the show was meant to be about mysterious things like runes.  Here is the two page  thread where I first got introduced to Nancy and Rosies Show Concept:  It's topic is Astrology, Tarot  etc ....

Memories, and a blast from the past!!
