TigerLily

Here are the best shots I could get of my guava blossoms.  Hard to see detail. These are in full sun. Once the ones on the lower branches blossom I can get prettier pictures. So I threw in a bonus shot. Anyone know the name of this? I call them silver lilies

I remember having a guava tree in my backyard when I was a little girl.  Sometimes my grandmother would make jam from the fruit.

The flower in your next pic is beautiful.  Does it have a strong fragrance like a daffodil or paper white?

I would hazard a guess, but Gravity will just correct me again.  I know, I know.  It's a philodendron. ;D

Definitely not a philodendron. I guess I will never live that one down. I want to know what the lily is as well. That is one thing I have in common with TigerLily. I have some planted in my back yard as well.

p.s.  My lilies are planted pretty close to my split leaf philodendrons but the flowers are long gone.

Thanks. I did away with the political stuff last year and went with the present format. It's more fun and I I can keep it neutral. Besides, Astronomy, Local stuff, Paranormal and the Army are more my forte' anyway. Got the radio station on a schedule now for more control and some live feeds as well as podcast stuff. Great hobby.  :D
