Starr...I am so glad you are somewhat settled.  Spring has sprung in my neck of the woods.   Today I saw several robins, a gopher, a weasel, and many many white cap birdies.  Nature is ....astounding.

We were starting to get warm, but a winter storm decided to give us another visit.  It's not as cold here as where I was.  We're getting some rain but that's about it.

Hi Haven Honeys. 

My Kitty is a "Domestic Feral."  This is a name I coined, on the spot, when the vet asked me what breed she is.  She is an outdoor kitty who's used to being out or in as she pleases.   Here, at this beautiful old farts home, she no longer has that option.  She's spent the last 2 nights letting me know how much she really, REALLY, wants to go outside to run free and play.  I put her on here harness and leash and managed to get a couple of feet outside our front door, then right back inside again.

I'm not going to force her cause she's never been on a leash before, and I know we'll have a walking routine eventually, but she's been 'yowling' at me for the last 2 nights. 

She finally quit sometime this morning, after it started getting light outside, then I finally got to sleep.

I hope all of you had a wonderful day.  I'll be able to share the earlier part of it with you, more, once Intrepid gets used to the idea that she's a 'house cat' now.

No rain, except for some light rain in morn and some mist, at all until after all kegs floated and bugs eaten. And the rain (and crows and coons) helped wash away the remnants and clean the yard and street.) Haha.

It has been training off the coast for about the last 16 hours and the rain starting right about where that red band is now and it all keeps moving north. We have had sse winds for over 24 hours. Tides are almost at 4 feet in the bays and bayou. No place for the rain to go.
