You've got some awesome music playing on Alien Dreams Radio right now.  Thank you, Serenity, for providing us with such excellent content. You're a good man.

Starr...I am so glad you are somewhat settled.  Spring has sprung in my neck of the woods.   Today I saw several robins, a gopher, a weasel, and many many white cap birdies.  Nature is ....astounding.

Thank you, so much, Gabby.

We were starting to get warm, but a winter storm decided to give us another visit.  It's not as cold here as where I was.  We're getting some rain but that's about it.

So happy to be back in the Haven again. ;D

I hope this makes it over the "wall".

If not, it is Badge by Cream.  I have always found something compelling about this tune.  I really love it.

Hi Haven Honeys.

My Kitty is a "Domestic Feral."  This is a name I coined, on the spot, when the vet asked me what breed she is.  She is an outdoor kitty who's used to being out or in as she pleases.   Here, at this beautiful old farts home, she no longer has that option.  She's spent the last 2 nights letting me know how much she really, REALLY, wants to go outside to run free and play.  I put her on here harness and leash and managed to get a couple of feet outside our front door, then right back inside again.

I'm not going to force her cause she's never been on a leash before, and I know we'll have a walking routine eventually, but she's been 'yowling' at me for the last 2 nights.

She finally quit sometime this morning, after it started getting light outside, then I finally got to sleep.

I hope all of you had a wonderful day.  I'll be able to share the earlier part of it with you, more, once Intrepid gets used to the idea that she's a 'house cat' now. ;)

I was listening to an old AB the other night circa 96 that was very "cat-based." He found a feral cat under his house and finally trapped it and was going to adopt it. Open lines was what should the name be (I think "Comet" won due to its coloration and the comet stuff going on then.) Interestingly he also mentioned to caller that he thought the name "Asia" was his favorite name for a girl and if he ever had a daughter he would name her "Asia." A few decades later? He got that chance!
ps: big rains coming here but, so far, not bad. Was able to have our crawfish boil yesterday when most other people/schools/teams cancelled ballgames and activities but we decided to go for it. No rain, except for some light rain in morn and some mist, at all until after all kegs floated and bugs eaten. And the rain (and crows and coons) helped wash away the remnants and clean the yard and street.) Haha.

Albrecht,, I remember that AB show about Comet like it was yesterday.  It is amazing how that man became and is a part of our lives.  Stay safe.

Good morning. Everything is still good here. Lots of flooding in Houston, but so far all of the rain is staying just to the north of me.

It has been training off the coast for about the last 16 hours and the rain starting right about where that red band is now and it all keeps moving north. We have had sse winds for over 24 hours. Tides are almost at 4 feet in the bays and bayou. No place for the rain to go.
