Sorry I haven't been around posting lately.  I had an adventure last Monday ...

I was sleeping and all I remember is dreaming and waking up yelling KARMA as I find myself falling out of bed, there was a new hard trashcan next to the bed, which I gave a karate chop to -- smashing it into multiple pieces ... (see picture below, sigh).

I decided to wait until Wednesday to call doctor, talked with him and we decided I'm go in to see him if I wasn't better by Friday ... which I did and he took the x-ray ... yup, I fractured the little bone in my wrist ... he wanted me to see a specialist that day but no-one could take me in ... so I have to wait until tomorrow morning -- to get it set or whatever they will do .... needless to say, lots of aches and ouches from me ... 

I'm very very grateful for all the funnies and video's everyone is posting throughout Bellgab, its keeping my sanity intact by having so many laughs and giggles!  I really look forward to the gabcast tonight and hearing MV, PK and PBS ... Yay!!!!

What an unbelievable way to get an injury!! If you had had a motion-detecting night-vision camera setup, we'd be literally rolling on the floor right now. Still, I wish you a speedy recovery and hope you're keeping it cushioned as you write to us here and ... lol. Sorry.

Maybe you should make a weekly appointment with the orthopedist, and then just cancel if you don't need it.

Thanks for all the healing good wishes!  I'm back from the specialist ... yeah, it broke all the way through but it stayed in place, so I didn't need to have it set ... they gave me a brace, told me no lifting over 5 pounds for six weeks ... and I can take my ibuprofen three times a day (600 mg). He said it should be a little less painful each day after two weeks (next monday). I am very fortunate ... it could have been so much worse!!!! Now to just get through the aches and pains .
