For GrubGirl

For my fellow fluffy-bunnies

Wild Card, maybe you didn't listen to the words of the song that Eagle posted. I understand that happens... In case you didn't below are the words.

Prayers for you Rose Girl.. And Eagle too.
Eagle thank you for your strength.

Love ALL

"I'm Gonna Love You Through It"

She dropped the phone and burst into tears
The doctor just confirmed her fears
Her husband held it in and held her tight
Cancer don’t discriminate or care if you’re just 38
With three kids who need you in their lives
He said, "I know that you’re afraid and I am, too
But you’ll never be alone, I promise you"

When you’re weak, I’ll be strong
When you let go, I’ll hold on
When you need to cry, I swear that I’ll be there to dry your eyes
When you feel lost and scared to death,
Like you can’t take one more step
Just take my hand, together we can do it
I’m gonna love you through it.

She made it through the surgery fine
They said they caught it just in time
But they had to take more than they planned
Now it's forced smiles and baggy shirts
To hide what the cancer took from her
But she just wants to feel like a woman again
She said, "I don't think I can do this anymore"
He took her in his arms and said "That's what my love is for"

When you’re weak, I’ll be strong
When you let go, I’ll hold on
When you need to cry, I swear that I’ll be there to dry your eyes
When you feel lost and scared to death,
Like you can’t take one more step
Just take my hand, together we can do it
I’m gonna love you through it.

And when this road gets too long
I'll be the rock you lean on
Just take my hand, together we can do it
I’m gonna love you through it.
I’m gonna love you through

Receive the following email from Eagle, she requested that I post it for her:

I have tried to log in for over an hour and can not get in.

Thank you WhiteCrow, serenity, starrmtn001, Ms C and gabrielle for your kinds words. A special thank you  to WhiteCrow for taking the time to look up the words of the song. I posted the song on my Facebook page for family to see but something made me want to post it here as well. I have printed your comments for Lasha to see they are much appreciated by us both.

Lasha has had surgery and is now having chemo treatments. She is doing fairly well but is suffering from the side effects of the chemo. I am trying to stay strong for her as the song says, but it is a very trying time for us both.  Again thank you.

It's Saturday morning. The sun is coming up in the east and the birds are flying in from the west. Coffee is ready and I am here.

Time for the Saturday post.

Tonight starting at 8PM Central until Midnight Central ( Thats 6 to 10pm Pacific for you guys in Rio Linda or 9:00PM Eastern  ) on http://ksyl.com is: Art Bell - Somewhere in Time. When Art returns to 6/1/94 when the president of the Church of Scientology International, Heber Jentzsch, outlined the basics of Scientology, and their religious philosophy. Even though Jentzsch has not been seen publicly since 2004, he is still the acting president.

http://ksyl.com has a live stream listed on their page and they can also be found on Tune-in.
If you are local to NW Louisiana or if the propagation is right, you can hear them on 970AM,
I do not know if the show is in the archive. Jazmunda might have the info on that. However from past info, these may be the "new" classics and may not be in the archive.

For those of you with a bent for nostalgia, from 6pm to 8pm Central, ksyl plays When Radio Was, with old radio shows from the time when "Radio was King!"

Also if you are in the mood, K-Meat and MV will be hosting Drunking Karaoke at http://ufoship.com/chat
We fire up a pirate FM transmitter in a basement, get drunk, sing karaoke, and stream it for your listening pleasure. Tune in at 6:00PM Eastern (3:00PM Pacific). It may also show up at http://kmeat.net

And at 10:30PM Eastern (7:30PM Pacific) End of Days Radio LIVE at http://aliendreams.ddns.net and http://endofdaysradio.com/

Alien Dreams now has Weekend overnight programming. Something less intense for those who might be awake and want something to listen to. Zero politics, mind calming music and programs for the insomniacs out there. Ride with Serenity......Into the Night.

Remember "Theres Magic in the Static"
"When you go outside tonight, look to the sky, you never know what you may see"

Poptarts and coffee this morning, then a beautiful run through the park system of Roanoke.  9 miles all told, ran alongside a 5k and clapped and urged encouragement to about 30 runners, that made my day.

Haha, well lunch was a bit more substantial. 9 miles actually which is about 15 km. I've got a half marathon next weekend I'm gearing up for, should be a blast!

A quiet moment before yesterday's Seder dinner. And a prayer that the pain and worry pass over RoseGirl and Eagle's house forever.

My playoff beard is getting itchy! I hope the team finishes the series tonight, which would also mean I am growing my longest playoff beard since 1993.

Good luck to your Islands the Peeve!  I will catch parts of the game hopefully.
