Lighten up! There are some skeptics here but mostly it's just about having fun, entertaining ourselves when the show is boring or bullshit, etc. You're welcome to present any arguments in support of Hoagie and his theories but you probably won't find many true believers here. I'm always open for wild speculations though. I just prefer not to call them science.

Darren, there are some professional scientists that frequent this board. To classify Hoagland in the same group as them, is an insult. These people have spent the time attaining a degree and pursuing a career in a field that deals with hard data. They undergo peer review that 100 times worse than anything you'll see on this board. Hoagland wouldn't know the 'Scientific Method' if it bit him in the ass.
We're here to have fun, but we will call Hoagy out on his bullshit.
Don't take things so seriously in here. We haven't turned on you. But this also isn't the  "swallow the bullshit with a smile" thread either.

the thing about hoagie is, he's one of those complex cases, where i have such mixed feelings - he can be so knowledgable and even charming, but can also be a misguided goof with delusions of grandeur ... i wonder sometimes why I still listen, I think it's because no matter what you think of what he claims, he's usually an interesting personality .... also i've read/watched so much scifi/fantasy/horror/conspiracy stuff over the years that i always find the ideas interesting even if only speculation
