that scene needs to be edited out of the movie.
at the time I didn't realize how bad that scene was

What? You don't like Kenny Loggins? LOL!

"Playing with the boys" like they said hey we need a song for this scene where they're playing volleyball.  Only the '80s could be that literal.

is that some brand of suntan oil?

I wish.  At least a sunscreen.  I'd wear Kenny Loggins brand sunscreen.  I burn easily.

....and awesome.  The 80's also gave me my love for neon and pastels.  :D

maybe he was gay. apparently he died and the cause was withheld by the family. but if i had to wager money i would say he is probably using a ronco juicer right now and having a speed reading contest with eazy e and freddie mercury.

I also give him credit for not trying to turn the show into that once he realized his guest wasn't biting. I think our little Hoagie may be growing up.  :)
He even apologized for interrupting when I was first able to pull up the stream. Must've been a good 1/2 hour into the show.  Let's hope the new Hoagy sticks around for more shows.

Nite all, enjoyed the input on tonite's topic, thought it was hoagie's best show in some time.  Will be going with the group consensus to skip tomorrow, but i'll be up for some arcology hijinks on Fri.  There were actually a few pics on that last show that had me saying mmmmm hmmmm.

dangerzone is one thing... but this song/scene is another. this is gayer than mike levey's sweater collection.

I actually bought the book in the 80s and was fairly into all the psychoanalysis stuff (I was young and hadn't read any Freud yet) but when I got to the SciFi metaphysics of it is when I said, "Check, please!"  ::)
Cults are kind of like that, they lure you in with reasonable, logical, ideas, but there is always that transition point where they try to relate / switch it to their model. ;)

neon is back... 35-50 year olds are wearing dayglo shit again. it's weird i notice it a lot. especially shoe laces... neon peach, orange, lime colors... sporty 80s neon shit. fucking gross. all my clothes are black, i wish i could get them even blacker.

not the ron guy... did he die? i was talking about mike using the products he endorsed on his commercials. IE the ronco juicer or whatever it was called. i don't think he died, if he did maybe it was old age. that guy was old. and he looked like the joker.

I forgot all about those. They were so bland then, and still are today. I vaguely remember seeing them once or twice, but I'm pretty sure when one of those came on, I switched off the TV and kicked on the radio.  ;D
