Someone mentioned previously it'd be cool if he did other sci-fi shows like Space 1999 or The Prisoner or Dr. Who or even Red Dwarf etc.  But I'm starting to wonder if his knowledge of tv shows has about the same breadth as that of his books which is basically five overused quotes from Heinlein, Clarke, and Asimov.

interesting point..he never goes on about the books themselves..just mentions them and the authors

I know the last time I called in to him I asked what new SF books he had been reading, and he said he'd been "too busy" to read anything. A shame, but not really a shock.

not like he does anything..but he should do what i started recently..make time to read at least one chapter before bed
