Yeah I agree.  I think the two-parter Borg story where Riker's authority is challenged, ending on a cliffhanger, was one of the all-time greats.  Other notables imho are the one were Spock's dad Sarek loses his emotions, and the one where Picard has that memory implanted of a life on that dying planet.
