Although I am is solidarity with you all regarding treatment of someone here, who has asked us to let it be, I am going to stick my neck out and say that I thought last night's show was a good and interesting listen.

I have always liked Farrell and I though he brought some very interesting history and detail to this current situation.

I listen to media in search of the truth, with the intent to consider all information and POV before forming any opinion. We certainly have learned over the years that we will never get that from the MM.

All in all, for me, good show.

Hey, you guys ever hear of a black market passport mill. Names and details printed on actual (mostly stolen) passport blanks and a picture inserted. A lot of the names come from gravestones or a phonebook. That there are doudles w/ the same personal info is a pretty good clue that that is where they came from. With the influx of refugees, the black market is booming. Those types of passports have enough correct info to pass a cursory examination, but not much more. They WILL get you across borders.

It may be true and it may not be true.  We will never know.  But one thing's for sure...finding a Syrian passport on one or more of the perpetrators is as good as getting a green light to manufacture some more ammo.

Add to this that Richard did open up the line for callers during the last 45 minutes of the show.  About three of them as I remember, and all of them with similar views of Richard and his guest...so it was pretty easy to eat up the clock that way.  Typical Richard.

OK I get that when talking about mythology (which is where most of Hoagie's theorizing belongs*, IMO, stripped of its pseudoscientific trappings) it's common to draw parallels between sources that would never have occurred to the originators.  Thus Isis putting Osiris back together has a parallel in the Kalevala where the dead Lemminkäinen is put together by his mother.  Though no Egyptian ever spoke to a Finn you can say that both stories convey a common maternal attribute.  But if he sees any goddess behind the accidental acronym I'd love to know where.

*This is what allows him to talk about Star Wars as ancient history:  in a sense, these stories, known to far more people nowadays than ancient mythology, serve the same function.

Man, I'm sorry I missed it! Sounds like an insane show. Sometimes I like the insanity when the reality is so sad. For some reason (maybe they 'experimenting' with the stream) my recorder didn't record the show.

Ditto.  I had an error in the MP3 file I've never gotten before with the stream.  10MB file, says it's 2 seconds long, won't play anything.  Hence I'm hoping someone else might've successfully recorded it.
