If you are on a mac open Gl is a thing, soon to be Vulcan.
why dont you just dual boot to windows? dont get win 10, stick with 7 on a mac

playonlinux works better than just wine... especially for gaming. OpenGL is a coding language that graphics cards either support or don't. If games are written in openGL, you'll need a card that supports it.
