maybe but i think Syria will finally bring the usa and the Russian federation back to the diplomatic table, putins armed forces aren't still at a high operational level to fight a war against a super power

I sure hope so, but 2 military bases and 28 advanced Russian fighter aircraft in Syria seem to suggest that Russia is not budging on Syria.
