Ah so you're the person who still uses an ipod. I was actually wondering what happen to the ipod. It seemed like everyone had one and then it just disappeared as everyone got a smart phone.

i usually use a 160 gig ipod classic from 2008. the output it best of all music players that i have owned and the capacity is superior to any other device by a landslide. i prefer dedicated devices for particular purposes. mostly though, i do not like touch screen and have a difficult time with them, they stress me out. i prefer buttons on things, to click and feel without having to stop, take out ackward sized device, swipe, finger tap, twirl, the whole time the backlight is lit and killing battery. i recently bought a sony 16 gig walkman. it has a really shitty EQ and lacks volume/output that both of my ipods have. it's a POS in terms of sound output and buggy as a mutherfucker.

i am in the market for a 16 gig 4th generation nano. i definately prefer older ipods from around 2007-2008. after that they started to become touches and shit and they are a pain in the cunt in the winter when it's sub zero out or you are in dense traffic on a bike. plus touch screens simply do not work for me, and they do not respond to my fingers. i occasionally smash phones in public and throw tantrum on the street in front of strangers when my phone is being a fuckhole. i hate touchscreen anythings. i also hate apple in general except their casings for their players, phones, and computers are amazing. i hate their OS and culture though. i hate that iPods have to sinc converted files and it takes all god damn day to do a hundred gigs or more.

i am disappointed in the direction apple has taken with the ipods. it's pretty much abandoned at this point. i think they have 1 or 2 models and that's it. i would like to find a high capacity player with loud output. not low capacity with some fucking volume leveling shit built in that makes listening to music suck shit. even an iPod touch that i had was terrible for vovlume output no matter what EQ setting was chosen, but the youtube on it was loud as fuck and it became my youtube music player when i was wandering around the house. for music though, from my mp3 archives, it played songs like it had cotton ballz in it's mouth. it was a shitshow and i get the same horseshit from this 16 gig sony i recently picked up at worstbuy.
