Well, give him some credit, he might not have computer fu, but he's a good talker. Some really bright people can't operate computers and other equipment, it's like some people just aren't wired for it. I can't tell you how many times I've tried talking family through computer problems and it's all I can do to not lose my mind with them. My auntie still doesn't understand the difference between the operating system window and the browser, and she's college educated, used to be a journalist.

Actually, I have not met a single person where I live now that comprehends what I tell them about what I used to do for a living (photonics), people's eyes glaze over and it mystifies me how clueless people can be, but I just guess folks aren't wired for it. It isn't that complicated but you'd never know that with how most people act.
