Whether Hoagie's widget reflected streaming listeners or just page views, Fred, the CEO of KCAA, seemed genuinely impressed with Hoagie's audience, saying their streaming hardware was overtaxed.  He said he'd been waiting his whole career, since sometime in the '60s, to launch a show like this.

Who knows how long the infatuation will last.  I hope it lasts long enough to see Hoagie traipsing all over Bosnia with Robin and his silly watch and a periscope feed.

I just wish Hoagie's boss wasn't an idiot who gives in to Hoagie wanting to destroy his show with lame political talk. All these repeat guests and we've still only had Gary Spivey once!

Usually when you are paying someone to do something, like carrying your show on their network, you don't really consider them to be your boss.  More like a service provider.

Yeah, good point.  Different environment entirely when you get along with your boss.  Hopefully he can be less pissy and more genial, like he was in the old days.
